Jeanine:

💕the next week💕

I saw the things that people said on Twitter. But I didn't brought it up in a conversation with Shawn yet.

I was in my hotel room, busy reading some of my old books when there was a knock at the door.

I haven't seen Shawn since Monday. And well that  was three days ago.

I stood up and walked over to the door, opening it slowly. "I was craving a muffin but I thought it'll be better to eat one with you." Shawn.

I laughed at him as I let him and the pack of muffins he brought in my hotel room. "You are so cringe you know that." I said as he fell down in my bed and just looked up at the ceiling.

I sat down next to him, in my grey sweatpants and his merchandise hoodie on. I could sense he's thinking. Thoughts running around his head.

"What's on you mind?" I asked as I saw him in thought. He never looked so down when we hang out.

"Jeanine... you saw the things on Twitter. Why didn't you say anything." He asked, rolling over so he was laying on his stomach, looking at me. "Because it doesn't bother me. I'm not gonna let something as stupid as that and hate ruin a perfect friendship." I said and he looked down at his hands.

"Hey. Shawn." I said and placed my hand over his. "It's okay. I'm serious." I said and he smiled faintly before his eyes grew big. "Shit! But what about Nick and Ryan?" He said and sat up.

Oh god.

I didn't think of that.

They can see it to.

"Uhm... I don't know. But the pictures aren't that focused. If they already saw it, and thought it was me I bet they would've said something." I said, feeling my heartbeat raising in my chest as he let out a shaky breath.

"I should've stayed away from you. Now I'm just causing you trouble." He said, running his hand through his hair.

"No. Nope. Na-ah. No no no. I'm not taking that. Don't even start with that! It's been a dream to have my life invaded by you so don't you dare try and step out of it and ruin my dream." I said and he smiled.

A full smile now followed with a laugh.

"How the heck do you do it?" He laughed, falling back down on the bed again. "Do what?" I chuckled and leaned down to him, laying on my elbows so my eyes were still locked on his.

"You make me happy. You can always find a way to make me smile and laugh. Even in the most serious situations, you make me feel calm and comfortable." He said and I shrugged, standing up and grabbing my laptop to continue reading.

"It's not me Mendes. In life you choose the things that make you happy. It's not what people do, it's the people you choose." I said and sat down next to him, resting my back against the headboard of the bed.
