Shawn:

I'm not taking that.

I know she doesn't want me to move on, no matter how hard she fights the thought of not letting go. She's letting go of me, but she doesn't want to really.

I saw it in her eyes, when we kissed.

The spark rushing through as her body warmed up against mine. That was it. That was the spark I needed to see, to experience to know that this is not the end.

She is still mine and I just need to break through her barriers. I know in her heart she wants to fight for what we had and what we still have.

But she keeps pushing me away.

"I'm going to that event. I can't let her get away." I said, pacing up and down my hotel room as Brian sat on my bed. "Don't you get it dude. She's pushing you away, she wants to end this." He said, making me stop and look him right in the eyes.

"I know she doesn't want this. No matter what she says Brian. I know this." I said and he rolled his eyes as he leaned back onto his hands. "And how are you so sure of that?" He asked and I pulled out my phone from my back pocket, scrolling through my chats to Ryan's name.

"I aksed him if I could stay at his tonight because the hotel didn't have more rooms. He said it's okay but before that he sent me this voice note of him and Jeanine talking." I said and played the message.

"Why J? Why do you want to let him go?" "I don't want to Ryan. I love him! God I love him so much but Nate ruined everything and it's hard to be together because our lives are so much different." "I know that but aren't you always the one telling me to go out and do the unthinkable. Do the unbelievable. To go and prove them wrong?" "Yeah. I know. But the things he said... he said it was a mistake. That, the night of the festival wasn't supposed to happen. And he's right. If that night didn't happen then none of this would've happened. We could've still be friends. And just friends." "Don't say that. You guys can still be friends." "No. It's only gonna be harder. I can't be just friends with the person I love the most." "You say you love him. So tell how can you let someone you love go?" "You can't. And I won't. I'll never love someone the way I love him. He's my forever. Even if this all ends I'll never be as happy as I was with him."

It ended and he looked at me with big eyes. "See. She still loves me." I said putting my phone back in my pocket and he nodded. "Well then you should get to Ryan's if you need to sleep and be at the event tomorrow." He said standing up from bed and leaving to go back to Jeanine's.

I'm going to get my girl back, even if I have to wait and even if she loves someone else one day... she'll be in my heart all the time and I'm not giving up on my fight for her.
