Part 69

Jeanine:

This night was so fun.

Getting to spend the day with Shawn and Brian. I love him. Shawn is the best thing that ever happened to me and I made a new best friend to.

Brian understands my craziness and when we go out while Shawn is at the studio or busy with interviews, it's the best time as well. We share the same brain. Joking around and having fun.

I watched as Shawn drove off from across the street after he dropped me off at home. Tomorrow he goes back to Toronto and then we're apart again.

But that's till I go to him again.

As I walked through the door, my cheeks were burning and I had a big grin on my face, thinking back on the day and still feeling Shawn's lips lingering on mine.

"Well well well." I heard and jumped around. "For gods sake Nate! You scared the shit out of me!" I yelled, seeing him sat on the chair by the counter.

It's odd that he's here though because Nick and Ryan aren't.

"Yes Jeanine. You should be scared. Scared that your little secret will come out." He said standing up and walking to me.

"What secret?" I asked trying to be oblivious to anything. "I know." He smiled and I felt my heart pounding in my chest as he stood up. "You know what?" I asked, already assuming he knows about me and Shawn.

I just don't want to believe he does or confess that to myself. I like to think we're still a secret.

"Oh don't play dumb Jeanine. I saw it. The pictures on twitter, the videos and tweets. The little hand trick at the karaoke club that night of the festival. The kiss in the park. The drop off just now. I don't think Ryan and Nick would be very happy to hear about your little secret that you've been keeping from everyone. And not just them, what about his fans, family and other friends? Your mom and dad." He whispered as he now stood infront of me.

Sending shivers down my spine.

"What do you want from me?" I asked, feeling like I could cry about now. I hate Nate, and the things he does to get what he wants.

I just want Shawn to be safe, Nate can do whatever he want to me, he just needs to leave Shawn alone.

"If you want to keep your secret safe. You need to date me, instead of him. You know I've always loved you Jeanine." He said, and I felt the disgusted shivers going down my spine by the sound of his voice and that he said he loves me.

"I'd rather eat pig barf. And you know I never felt the same way about you." I said and he laughed. "It's that or I tell." He laughed, crossing his arms over his chest and I sighed. I have no other choice.

But I don't want to hurt Shawn. I'll just tell him that Nate knows and if forcing me to do this.. he'll understand that. Right?

"Fine." I said furiously and he smiled, enjoying the feeling of the hurt he gives me. "Here's the rules: You will not talk to him. You will not see him. You will absolutely do nothing of the sort that is associated with him." He said and my jaw fell to the ground as my heart ripped to pieces.

"Nate! That's insane." I said, a tear now falling from my eyes. "Do it Jeanine. Or I'll tell!" He yelled and walked out the house, slamming the door behind him.

What the hell just happened!

I ran my hands through my hair as the tears rolled down my cheeks.

I'm gonna break Shawn's heart.

And he'll hate me.
