Shawn:

Today is the day of the carnival.

Me and Jeanine aren't going together but she promised to go with me on a ride.

I was on my way home from the studio when I saw a hashtag trending on Twitter about Jeanine.

It's a video, probably taken from some fans point of view about her and a girl almost arguing. But she didn't argue, she stood up for me.

"AWW JEANINE!" I yelled in the car. This is the only time that I can scream of excitement and love for her.

When I'm alone.

"Calling Jeanine." Siri said on my phone and my eyes grew big. "What no! Don't call h-" "Shawn?" He voice came through. "H-Heyy Jeanine." I said and chuckled awkwardly.

"You called." She laughed and my cheeks were burning from embarrassment. "No Siri called you. Sorry this was sort of a butt dial." I said and she laughed.

"Well well well. If Siri called me and this was abutt dial then you must have said my name." She said and I could only imagine the smirk on her face right about now. "Okay so I did. But that's not weird right." I said and she laughed, snorting as she does.

I love it when she does that. It's adorable.

"You're saying my name when you're alone? What are you doing Mendes? Creating a one hit wonders called 'Jeanine'" She laughed and then I heard Brian laughing in the background to.

I must be on speaker.

"Okay you're making me shy. BYE!" I yelled and hung up on her. When I drove past the hotel I saw Ryan and Nick with some other guy walking in.

Shit.

I can't stop and go in now, or all will be revealed. "Hey man what's up?" Brian asked, still laughing from the previous call. "Dude get out there now. Her brother and friends are on the way up." I said and heard him running, yelling a goodbye to Jeanine.

When he came out of the hotel he had his hoodie on with the cap flipped over his head.

"Wow. Brian acting like a celebrity not wanting to be caught by the paparazzi." I said and he rolled his eyes as he got in the car. "How's the song coming?" He asked and I smiled.

"It's good. Album number three is really starting to settle in. And I love it." I said as we drove back to my place.

"Oh no. I was talking about the one hit wonder." He said with a straight face and I just laughed sarcastically.

Jeanine is the best thing that ever happened to me, humanly wise. I never had a friend such as her, although I have a lot of friends.

She's one in particular that brings out the sides of me I mostly hide away.
