December 29

After romping around for most of the bewtiching hour, we finally get some much needed rest and sleep. Laying here with him, I feel so loved and blessed. He is still sleeping, I'll just enjoy my time here with him awhile longer. I'm getting so excited about his surprise tonight, he is gonna love it. The last couple of days has been challenging to say the least. If I did not know anything else, I know he loves me. You may think you know someone inside and out, but what I told him was so far beyond any conceivable comprehension for most people. He is special and he is one of the few that can take it all in and understand it. I know he has questions, but he is suppressing them  in consideration of my feelings right now. After he gets done thoroughly processing it, he'll ask them, I'm sure sooner or later. If things had been different back when I met him, I doubt he would have been able to handle it at that time in his life. Quite honestly, I don't know if I could have either. We needed our life experiences to prepare us, so we could be together here today. This is our journey now and everything is good. I just love laying here with him like this. His pillowy chest hair is so scrump-dilly-icious. Um-um-um. He is sound asleep and if I do anything, he will wake up. He needs to sleep and get his rest from this tight performance schedule.  Hum, maybe I can slide out without disturbing him. I hear the food arriving and I'm famished. He eats like a bird, but I make up for it. I slip out of bed and head to the bathroom. Taking care of business there, comb my bed-head, wash my face, brush my teeth, I head out to get some breakfast/brunch. It is after noon, so whatever. When I get to the living room, the butler is there arranging the food, "Good Afternoon Mrs. Nelson." he says gleefully. "Shhh, Good Afternoon, Jeff." I reply in a whisper putting my finger on my lips to signal him to keep it down. He acknowledges and nods to me. I grab my tablet on the way over to the table. He pulls the chair out to help me get seated and whispers, "What can I get for you ma'me?" I told him a cup of coffee and some of whatever he brought up for us. He nodded and went to his post to get my request. I check my email and have a very nice email from Jacques. "Here's the link to my interview. Hope to see you again soon. Best wishes---always." I checked his interview/article and it was excellent about the concert he saw and includes his interview. He covered it well and gave a glowing review of the show. Jeff, the butler, "Ma'me is there anything else?" "As a matter of fact there is. Do you know somewhere that would be interesting to go this afternoon?" Jeff thinks and tells me, "There is an arboretum with a conservatory about ½ hour away. It is a historic property and just beautiful to see. Usually not super busy this time of year, but a beautiful, peaceful place to spend an hour or so. It is winter so the grounds are not as spectacular as they are in warmer months, but it is worth it just to see the manor house and conservatory. Everything is still decorated for Christmas and it is a fantastic display to see the house all decked out and the conservatory as well. It is quiet and you will have plenty of privacy there. Nice place to just relax and take a break." I think this will work out just fine. Perhaps Steve and Bonnie would like to go along. My brunch is just wonderful. I have Eggs Benedict with real beacon, he ordered this special for me. Jeff gave me the details of the Arboretum and I found it on my tablet. The weather is wonderful for this time of year and it would me nice to just get out of here for a nice, relaxing day together instead of work. Jeff inquires if there is anything else I need and I told him I was good, he could leave when he was finished. I thoroughly enjoy my breakfast/brunch and go back in the bedroom to see if he's awake. Nope, he is still out like a light. I sit on the side of the bed next to him and kiss him softly like he does me to wake me up. He's awake and responds to me with a "Mmmm, Baby." "Good Morning Sweetheart." All I have on is a robe, as he wraps his arms around me, pulling me down to him in for a hug. "Sweetheart, do you want to go out this afternoon?" "What do you have in mind?" "Jeff told me about a historic arboretum with a manor house and conservatory that would be nice to see. The weather is really nice and I thought it might be nice to get out for some fresh air." "Baby, that sounds wonderful. We can go do that." "Okay, let's get ready to go then so we can get back in time for your rehearsal-soundcheck." I get up and head to the bathroom with him following me. We take a shower and it's like every other shower. Washed, pleasured, moisturized and dressed. Both of us leaving very satisfied. He quickly grabs an egg and muffin sandwich for breakfast, off we go to the arboretum. Steve and Bonnie declined going with us and opted to stay at the hotel to gamble instead. Bonnie added that it sounded like a nice place for us to go to and just enjoy our time together.
