"They're so cute. I want one" I smile as I pet the baby Niffler
"Your father will say no. You already got a cat" Hermione smiles
"But this is a Niffler, look how cute he is" I hold the Niffler up and snuggle him to my cheek
"We're here for me to get a pet not you. Now come on"
"Get a Niffler"
"No"
"Why?"
"Because you will steal him"
I sigh and kiss the Niffler goodbye placing him back into his cage. I find Hermione looking at the cats but one cat in particular.
"No"
"Why? What's wrong with him? He's cute"
"It looks like he ran into the wrong barrier at Kings Cross leaving him with a squashed face"
"Don't be mean, he's different and unique. I'm taking him"
"Look at the others at least, what about this cutie?" I say as I go to pet a black and white cat that hisses and goes to scratch me
"Still think it's cute?" Hermione laughs
"Evil little thing" I glare at the cat then I look back at Hermione "There are many other cats here"
"I'm buying this one, and his name is Crookshanks"
I roll my eyes and follow her to go and pay and we leave but not without saying goodbye to the baby Nifflers first. We finish buying the rest of our Hogwarts supplies then we go our separate ways but will be seeing each other in 3 days times where we will be staying at the Leaky Cauldron before going to Hogwarts.
