Demonise's Point of View
The mall we went in was very familliar to me. I thought I was just thinking too much that I had thought this was ours but yes, it is our mall. Not in my name but it's in Angelo's name as he is the one managing this. Sa dinami-rami ng malls dito pa nila naisipan pumunta. I was preoccupied sa biyahe kahit sinusubukan nila akong kausapin.
I was thinking about making a site that is more handy to us, students of the school where the instructors can be tracked if they're outside or inside the campus at class hours. Wala namang scheduled na importanteng meeting ngayon. Hindi ko alam kung bakit nagpatawag ng meeting bigla at hindi ako na inform agad.
Pinagtinginan agad kami pagtapak namin sa mall. I am irritated but somehow learned to understand that no matter what I do there's nothing I can do about that matter. I cannot just go and say 'can you put away all the fucking stares because you're iriitating the shit out of me' because that's not how it works. Besides, I don't want gaining attention. I don't want making scenes.
Nilabas ko ang phone ko at hinanap ang number ni Angelo. I was planning to contact him because I know he's probably here making rounds or in his office. I heard they're planning to make upgrades.
"Shit bro. Angelo might be here today. Sa kanila to diba?" I suddenly got interested. So hindi ko pinahalatang medyo dumikit ako.
"Yes. I heard he's planning to make an upgrade and another branch." Sabi ni Briann. They know Angelo personally? I've never heard him say any of their names.
"Dude, that guy is on another level. He's good at basketball too. Nag one-on-one na kami dati. He's a good damn shooter." Sulpot ni Miko. I thought he's beside me kanina? Bakit nasa harapan na ni Justin?
Damn Mico might be a high class shadow user. I wonder what he can do on the arena.
"Angel?" Di ko namalayan, I was spacing out na pala.
"Sorry, you were saying something?"
"Ms. Beautiful, kilala mo si Angelo?" I was about to answer Justin when a set of arms hugged me from behind and kissed my forehead.
Gulat na gulat ang limang ugok.
"Dude--" Naputol yung sasabihin ni Kast. He looked angry. Did he misunderstood everything?
"Angelo?" Sabi ni Briann.
"Briann? Guys? Why are you here?" Tanong ni Angelo na kumalas sa yakap. Ako naman nakafix na mata ko kay Kast na nakatingin diretso sa kamay ni Angelo na nakahawak sa braso ko.
What is wrong with this guy? He's looking at it intently.
"Laro lang, you're here to inspect?" Tanong ni Briann. Are they close? Bakit parang wala ako dito. Do I still exist?
"Yes. We are in for an upgrade. Another branch plan is in process. Mabuti nalang pala at sumama ako sa inspection. But why are you with my sister?"
"Sister?/sister?!" Sabay-sabay nilang react. Nagkatinginan kami ni Angelo.
"Yes. She's my twin sister to be exact."
Mico pretended he fell on the ground. Nakaawang ang bunganga ni Justin. Briann stood there with unbelieving look, while looking at us interchangeably. Leigh firmly gripped his headphone which he almost dropped on the ground. Kast unconcsiously put his right hand on his chest looking at me.
Napatawa ako sa reactions nila. Laughing stocks.
"Dem? Did you just laugh?" Seryosong tanong ni Angelo. He's now looking at me. Directly at my eyes.
