You and Charles were laid in bed together, bodies flush, warmth shared, lazy feelings mutual.
"Truth be told, I think I've never loved anyone before," you admitted to him, laying your hand on his cheek and smiling at him. "At least, until I met you I didn't."
"Wow," Charles chuckled, and you knew he was about to tease you, even though he felt the same. "I am being courted. Well and truly."
"Oh shut up," you laughed. "I was trying to be romantic!"
"I know. I love you too."
