Don't Go - Archie Hicox

Archie was leaving to go and join the Basterds, but there was one thing he had to do first: he had to go say his goodbyes to you, his wife.

"Don't go," you pleaded, looking into his eyes and trying to hold back the tears. "Archie, please, don't go."

"Darling," Archie sniffled, trying to hold back his own tears as he pressed his forehead against yours. "I'll return."

"If you go away, as I know you will, you must tell the world to stop turning 'til you return again," you cried, and so did he. "If you ever do for what good is love without loving you?"

"I shall return," he promised, so much that it sounded as if he thought he wouldn't. "I'll come home."

"Take this," you sobbed, shakily taking off the shark tooth necklace he had given you when you were both fairly young. "Just to remember me."

"I'll never take it off," he promised, allowing you to put it on him. "And when I return, I'll give it back to you, my love."

"I'll miss you, Archie."

"I'll miss you too, (Y/N). I love you."

"I love you, too."
