Erik watched closely as you stared at the bedroom ceiling, his arm folded behind his head, and his gaze seeming as if you were the only person in the world.
"You know, my bedroom has the most interesting ceiling," you chuckled, slowly turning to him. "It has all these little patterns, and the off white colour is just-"
"(Y/N)," Erik said softly, slowly caressing your cheek with a small smile. "When did you become so smart?"
"Since I stopped listening to you," you joked, nudging him softly.
"Well, you certainly have the most amazing mind, even if you don't listen to me," he replied, lovingly watching you. "I would like to know what such a brilliant mind can acomplish when it can't think of anything other than to scream my name."
"I am being courted. Well and truly," you grinned, pressing a lazy kiss to his lips. "Love you."
