You had travelled up to the shops in order to buy some snacks for later, but Charles had gotten into your head in order to keep talking to you and make sure you were safe.

"Please come home, I miss you," his voice rang in your head, causing you to grin.

"I'll be home in a bit," you replied, paying for what you had gotten and taking the bag from the cashier before walking back down to the mansion. "I haven't even been gone that long, Charles."

"I know, darling," Charles' voice was filled with longing. "But I need you."

When you got home, you put the snacks away and looked for Charles; it didn't take you long to discover he was in the bedroom, still all snuggled up in bed and waiting eagerly for you.

"Cuddle me." He opened his arms and you giggled before taking off your shoes and getting into the bed with him.

"You're so needy, Charlie," you joked, wrapping your arms around him and melting against him. "I love that about you. In fact, I'm pretty sure I love just about everything when it comes to you."

"Just about?" Charles smirked, tangling his legs with yours.

"Well," you teasingly began. "I don't love how long you take in the shower... Unless I'm there with you."
