You and Cassidy had just watched 'IT' together, which scared the living daylights out of you, but not the vampire; he realised you were scared when he put his hand on your shoulder and felt you flinch, which made him let out a soft chuckle.
"Scared?" He teased, smirking.
"N-no!" You defended weakly, hiding your slightly shaking hands by stuffing them in your pockets.
"Run," Cassidy joked, grinning when you immediately held onto him tightly. "Don't worry, love, I won't let that bloody clown get ya."
"Promise?" You asked; you knew it was only a film, but at that point in time, you were scared of the fictional being.
"Promise, and ya know what?" He gazed down at you and pressed a quick kiss to your forehead.
"What?" You held onto him a little tighter, which didn't fail to make his grin grow.
"I'm falling for you," he admitted. "And I ain't gonna let no one get ya."
"Cass," you smiled. "I'm falling for you, too. Just... Keep me far from that clown, yeah?"
"'Course." The vampire agreed with a gentle rumble of laughter.
