You and Erik were babysitting your nephew, who was fairly young, but incredibly smart; he loved Erik and kept handing him metal objects, just to see what he could do with them. You had left Erik with your nephew in order to grab a quick drink, and when you came back, you watched them from the doorframe with a smile on your face.

"This one," the young boy grinned, handing Erik a spoon. "Please?"

"Of course, Jack," Erik replied, swiftly bending the spoon and moulding it into the shape of a rat.

"The ladies love a guy who's good with kids, y'know," you snickered from your spot at the doorway before joining Erik on the sofa.

"Auntie (Y/N)," Jack fiddled with his precious little metal rat as he sat between you both. "Are you and Uncle Erik married?"
You and Erik looked at each other, wide eyed, when the small boy asked the question.

"We..." You paused and bit your lip. "No, Jack, we're not."

"Not yet," Erik grinned, sending you a teasing look. "One day, we will be though."

"If Uncle Erik behaves himself," you chuckled, sending Erik the same look. "Now, why don't you go off to bed, hmm?"

"Okay," Jack smiled, hopping off of the sofa and walking to his bedroom; he was old enough to dress himself and get himself to bed alright, which meant you and Erik had some alone time.

"Stop being so cute!" Erik growled playfully as soon as Jack was out of earshot, you rolled your eyes with the same joviality.

"How was I being cute?" You asked, straddling him.

"You're always cute," he mumbled, pressing kisses to your neck.

"You're one to talk," you giggled. "I saw you and Jack together, and honestly? Erik, I can't wait to see what you'll be like when we have kids of our own."
