Charles had thought it would be a good idea to bring you, Erik and Logan to the pub for a quiz night; Charles knew a lot of things about a lot of subjects, Erik knew a fair bit, Logan knew... Well, nobody knew much about what Logan knew, in all honesty, and you knew some rather obscure things about certain subjects.
Getting to the pub was easy, but finding a team name was hard.
"We should just call ourselves the X-Men," Charles pleaded, thinking of something easy.
"Nah," you and Logan shook your heads while Erik nursed a pint. "What about just... Y'know what? Fuck it. I can't think of anything. X-Men'll do."
"Good." Charles breathed out a sigh of relief.
"What's the atomic number of hydrogen?" The quizmaster asked, waiting for the various buzzers; you, Logan and Erik turned to Charles, knowing that he had the answer.
"One!" Charles called, and a few glares were sent his way; all night, the four of you had been winning.
"X-Men get yet another point," the quizmaster said, quite surprised. "What is Tom Six's best known film?"
Suddenly, the three men looked at you, expecting an answer."The Human Centipede!" You shouted, winning your team another point.
"Jesus," Logan chuckled. "You're on fire tonight, (Y/N)."
"That's because they ask easy questions," you grinned, downing your shot of Jäger and Red Bull.
"I fear," Charles chuckled. "You may know too much."
"Nonsense!" Erik scoffed, wrapping an arm around your shoulders and squeezing you tightly. "(Y/N)'s just a genius, Charles."
As the night progressed, the questions became harder and harder, but you and Charles were easily answering them, as Erik and Logan had dropped out in order to just drink and see who knew more out of you and Charles.
"What does Hamlet say to the skull?" The quizmaster asked, it was the final round and you were more than happy to answer.
"Alas poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio." You answered.
"Wow," Erik chuckled, raising his eyebrows and drawing another tally on the napkin; he had been using it for a while to see how many questions you answered compared to Charles, and was surprised to see that you had gotten more.
"What song did Italy perform in Eurovision this year?"
"Occidentali's Karma by Francesco Gabbani." You looked at Charles and Erik, who were completely shocked that you remembered such a thing, especially considering the fact that they had watched it with you and didn't even remember one song, let alone the artist and country.
"Told you," Logan grinned. "(Y/N) knows a lot of things about a few things."
"You're not wrong." Erik agreed, winking at you.
"Certainly not wrong," Charles smiled. "(Y/N), would you care to help me learn a few new things later?"
"Depends what they are, Charlie." You joked.
"A lot of things about a few things. Like... That Tom Six or Eli Roth fellow."
"In that case... Gladly."
