"Before I do this, I need you to know I love you." You said seriously, waiting in line with Logan; the two of you had gone to a theme park, and he somehow persuaded you to go on the biggest rollercoaster with him.
"Shut up," he grumbled playfully, draping his arm across your shoulders. "I love you too." The four words were uttered softly, almost in a whisper.
"Well," you smiled, still fearful of the ride. Heights and going upside down never was your thing. "I do suppose it gives a chance to bury my head in your shoulder."
