You and Erik were in the middle of an argument, neither of you knew what about, probably something petty, screaming at each other until your lungs were raw.
"I can't stand you!" You yelled, instantly regretting it when you saw the pain flash through his eyes. He didn't deserve that.
"Do you mean that?" Erik asked quietly, more hurt than angry, you sighed and shook your head.
"No, I don't," you said honestly. "I'm sorry, you didn't deserve that at all. Erik, you know as well as I do that I've loved you since the moment I first saw you, and I still love you."
"Forever and always?" He raised an eyebrow, all signs of pain and anger gone.
"Forever and always."
