Will wiped his eyes with the back of his hand when he heard someone knocking on the door, he glanced over at the clock at saw that it was five in the morning, shortly after, he got dressed and greeted the excited dogs at the door before opening it.
"(Y/N)," he breathed out. "It's five in the morning, what are you doing here?"
"I know it's a bit of a push," you handed him a bottle of expensive whiskey. "But nobody should be alone at Christmas."
"C-come in," he swallowed thickly and stepped aside, the dogs poured out of the door before you stepped inside, a small smile gracing your features.
"Thanks," you smiled warmly at him. "Go shower, Will, get dressed, I'll cook you a Christmas dinner."
"Really?" Will furrowed his brows and tilted his head in confusion.
"Yes," you nodded. "Go on, I'll be here until you kick me out."
"Thank you," he whispered, just loud enough for you to hear.
"Hey," you put down the bags that had previously weighed down your hands and threw your arms around him. "It's what I'm here for, right?"
"Right," reluctantly, Will hugged you back. "But... still, thank you, (Y/N)."
"No problem," you told him softly, honestly. "Sorry I woke you up so early, by the way."
"It's fine," he said gently. "Christmas is for forgiveness anyway, right?"
"Right," you chuckled. "But it's also a time for telling the truth."
"What do you mean?" He asked, pulling away in order to look at you, but still avoiding your gaze.
"Will," you swallowed thickly and placed one hand at the back of his neck. "I know you're not normal, and Hell, you've been put through some traumatic shit, but... I love you. For your faults. For your scars. For... well, for you."
Tearing up a little and chuckling softly, Will pressed his forehead against yours and looked into your eyes as he said, "I love you, too."
"Merry Christmas."
"Merry Christmas."
