Yours and Cassidy's relationship was never what could be considered 'normal', but the thing was, you loved it; you loved how each day was different, exciting, even dangerous. Cassidy loved it too, although, he loved anything that had even the most microscopic relation to you; however, a time had arisen that forced you both to act like an everyday couple.
"Can we just pretend like we're normal for once?" You asked sarcastically, linking your arm with Cassidy's and walking through the bar with him.
"Fuck normal, love," he whispered in your ear, nipping at your earlobe subtly.
"Damn right." You grinned at him and focused your attention on his eyes and his eyes only.
"Right," he chuckled, leaning against the bar and signalling the bartender over. "Let's have a couple o' drinks and get this shite over and done with."
