You felt like an outcast when Erik and Charles spent time together; all the little inside jokes, the bursts of laughter, the games of chess, all of it. And yet, you were practically tossed aside, despite being married to Erik, and being Charles' other best friend. You knew they were incredibly close, but you didn't think that you would be tossed aside by them both. So, one night, you decided to have a little... Talk with your husband about it.

"I don't like being left out by you two," you admitted to him. "I get it, he's your best mate, but he's also my best mate, and you're also my husband." Erik could hear the anger in your voice, which he had to admit, he found absolutely adorable.

"You're so cute when you're mad," he chuckled softly, watching with a smirk when you huffed and put your hands on your hips.

"I give up," you sighed, turning away; almost immediately, Erik shot up from where he was sat at the edge of the bed, and turned you back around with panic in his eyes that made you give him a broken smile. "I'm not going anywhere, Erik."

"You're not?" He asked, surprised but happy at hearing those words, you gave him a slightly more repaired smile.

"No," you said, reaching up and cupping his cheek. "I love you too much to do that. I will, however, be forming my own group with Logan."

"I love you," he chuckled, knowing not to say if he disagreed with you hanging around with Logan, as he knew you had every right to and he didn't want to stand in your way. "I'm sorry I've been..."

"A dick?" You offered, smirking when your husband nodded. "You're forgiven. Charlie isn't though."

"Why not?" Erik asked gently, you shrugged.

"He knows why."
