(DIVINA'S P.O.V)

I OPENED the old newspapers and searched quickly for an article. I really don't know how I could find something I don't even fully  quite remember. Natatandaan ko ang aksidente. How our car crashed and rolled over the road. How my mom screamed for my name, how my Dad did everything he could to control the car and how I hugged Samantha. The scene was getting blurrier and every time I force myself to remember what really happened and how we met the accident, I'm already crying for the excruciating pain of my head.

So I made up my mind, I'll know everything in no time. I already asked Eiji, my personal butler to find the infos about the accident of my parents in the manor. But  Juno told me that if I want to confirm everything, all I have to do is to search on my own. And I doubt if Oji-sama (Grandpa) will keep something that will remind him of our clan's loss.

I even looked through the internet hoping that I could find something. Even just a news about my parents arrival and visit here at the country but it's as if, they were all wiped out. All the information that will link about the accident I remembered were all gone. I know may nangyaring aksidente. Kinumpirma na yun sakin ni Nica.

I just have to look thoroughly.

It even looked like a lounge more than a library with the huge couches, expensive study tables, grand chandelier and magnificent staircases. Kung hindi lang sa mga naglalakihang shelves at napakaraming libro, the huge room would be mistaken for a grand hall instead.

I don't even want to include my friends into this. Ayokong pati sila mag alala. Lalo na si Nica. She might even be the first person to stop me from doing this.

Isang buntong hininga na lang ang pinakawalan ko as I put down the last newspaper I was holding. I removed my eyeglasses as my sight was getting blurrier for too much tiredness.

"That was a heavy sigh."

I was surprised when I heard a familiar voice. When I looked behind, I saw Xian's smiling face.

Guilt and awkwardness enveloped my heart quickly as he seated in the couch in front of me.

"May campus journalism ka bang subject? Ang daming dyaryo naman yata 'to."

"Ahm... Yeah. May... Campus journalism kami na subject kaya....ano... Reference sana."

Hindi ko matapos tapos ang sinasabi ko dahil nagmadali kaagad ako na kumpulin at kunin ang mga dyaryo. I don't want people to know a single detail of what I'm doing.

"But these were the old ones."

"Y-yeah."

"Uncle has these stuffs too. But older than these."

Napalingon ako kay Xian for what he said.

"What? Sinong uncle?"

"Uncle Ran. Randolf Emmanuel De Cordova."

Natigilan ako sa sinabi nya. Of course! How could I forget?!

I glanced at him and I saw how he frowned. I bit my lip to hide my nervousness.

May gagawin pa pala ako."

But before I could stand from my seat, he was able to grab my hand.
