Chapter 9

-Trixie's POV-

"All of you are here tonight are the closest to Trixie. Sabi nga nila, friendship is a million little things. This time, I'd like to ask Trixie's dear friends the question: "What is that one word that best describes our debutant, and why?" Sabi nung emcee at isa-isang nilapitan yung mga kaibigan ko. Hanggang sa maubos na yung mga kaibigan ko.

Pagkatapos nun ay nagbihis naman ako ng damit kasi may dance number ako.

"Earlier, we were serenaded by the very talented City Lights Band. At this moment, are we ready to move and groove?" Tanong nung emcee.

"Yes." Sagot nila.

"I can't here you, are we ready to move and groove?" Tanong niya ulit. Ang dami niyang mga pakulo. Sabagay bakla naman siya kaya ang dami niyang pakulo. Haha.

"Yes." Sagot uli nila pero ngayon mas malakas na kesa kanina. Kahit nasa backstage ako ay dinig na dinig ko yung mga boses nila.

"Ladies and gentlemen, here's a dance number from our debutant herself! Let's put our hands together for Trixie and friends!" Lumabas na ako at bumaba sa stage.

Hindi ko alam kong bakit kailangang may dance number pa ako. Ang dami nilang pakulo. Pagkatapos nung kanta ay bumalik na kami sa backstage para magbihis. Pagkatapos kung magbihis ay bumalik na agad ako sa stage.

"Matapos tayong pakiligin ng City Lights Band at napasayaw with Trixie and friends, let's do some ice breaker! Let's call this "How well do you know Trixie?" Gaano niyo nga ba kakilala ang ating lovely debutant? I have with me the list of trivia and if you know the answer, stand up from your seat. Alright, let's keep the ball rolling!"

Tanong lang ng tanong yung emcee, at sagot lang din ng sagot yung mga bisita kong alam nila yung tanong. Bukingan yung game na 'to kaya buking na buking na talaga ako. Habang nagtatanong pa yung emcee, ako naman ay nagbihis from hip hop na suot ko nung sumayaw ako to cocktail dress.

"Grabe ang bukingan ngayong gabi! Nag enjoy ba tayong lahat? Seems like our gorgeous debutant really enjoyed tonight. From the shared memories to a game trivia, Trixie has shared a part of her growing years with all of us. At sabi nga ni Mareng Willa Cather: "Where is great love, there are always wishes." Starting off with the woman dearest to Trixie's heart, representing the mother candle that will be a source of light for all the well-wishes for our dear Trixie, here's Mommy Katelyn Marie Tan!" Tumayo naman si Mommy at umakyat sa stage. Ang ganda ni Mommy kahit kailan, sa kanya namin namana ni Achi ang kagandahan ni Mommy, kay Daddy naman si Ahya.

"Baby, alam mo naman ang only wish ko para sa'yo ay you always stay happy and always keep your feet on the solid ground. Basta baby, when you need something Mommy will always be here no matter what happens. I love you Baby." Simula pa lang umiiyak na ako. Lumapit sakin si Mommy at niyakap ako. Bumulong pa ako sa kanya ng "Thanks Mom. I love you too." Habang yakap ko siya.
