She was shattered, rejected, and it obviously hurt. While in traffic, she was on the verge of tears and decided to call Jess for some comfort.

"How did the interview go!?"

Olivia sighed, "I was only like three minutes into the interview when the bitch told me it was over, I guess we can start another lease" then continued once more, "Maybe I'll find something else. "

"Awww baby, I'm so sorry—

She didn't want to discuss it anymore, "I'm on the freeway— we're backed up, I think there was an accident."

The two settled on food from Jack N the box.

--

Back at the apartment, she laid on the couch, and scourched the details of her interview.

"Fuck 'em" Jessica finalized.

"Yeah, fuck them."

The enthusiam in her voice wasn't present. She was still sad, sitting with the fries that were turning stale. That was until her phone rang, seeing that it was an unknown number, there was a gleam of hope.

"Ms. Rose?"

"Speaking."

Walking away, apart of her just knew and automatically, her heart lifted.

Could it be?

"This is Marvin Bleek, with Team Management."

It was.

"I'm calling to let you know that you've been selected for the position, and we need you to come in Monday to discuss your arrangement, income, benefits, and as said— sign a few things."

Her heart flipped then, rotated in a full circle, "Yes sir. I'll be there Monday, thank you for this amazing opportunity!"

"The pleasure is ours, be here at 10 am, have a great and safe weekend."

When the call ended, she was centered, rebalanced, and tossed into a reality only meant for books.

"I'm guessing I'll be rooming with Ash in April, " Jess said from the door frame of Olivia's room, her expression was daunted.

Monday morning,

Inside the same building, the receptionist greeted her, and immediately directed towards elevator.

"9th floor, room 301."

In the office, the Marvin Bleek pulled out papers, and there... This story starts.

"I need you to read through these— take them home with you, and read carefully because it's for your safety and well being."

He went on about the tour dates then added, "Make sure you're familiar with his image."

Her brows furrowed.

At home, she tossed through the papers and came to the page that said, in bold letters:

I will no disclose any information about artist, Lil Peep, to any forms of media, and to keep his privacy and recreational activities only within my sight and hearing. If these request are not followed, a lawsuit will be filed against I, the employee.

With those words written and what was said on the day of her interview, Olivia momentarily thought it would best to know who she was going to be working for, but immediately, she finalized while signing off her name,

No, an artist learns as they go.

Then thought,

Was Lil Peep that insane?
