Chapter 012

Will opened his eyes and saw that he was leaning on Rihna who was asleep. His eyes then wandered onto the weight on him, which he realized was (Y/N), then he saw Mike, who was leaning on (Y/N), and the Dustin who was leaning on his legs and Lucas who was leaning on Mike's legs. Rihna woke up and looked at Will.

"Sleep well?" He looked up at her and nodded. For a moment, he thought it was all a dream, but when his eyes connected with Rihna, the memories from last night came back to him.

"Yeah actually... now I feel sorta freed from the Upside Down." He stated, sitting up a little, trying not to wake (Y/N).

"You'll be free completely soon and it'll return to its non-existent state," Rihna assured, sitting up straight.

"What will happen to you Rihna?" Will asked, his eyes traveled up to hers.

"What do you mean?"

"Will you be able to stay with us? Or will you leave?" Rihna didn't answer.

"I'm not sure." She said.

"W-well... if you can stay you can stay with me. We have an extra room, so you can use that one. And we can all hang out after school, and we can do a lot of fun things." He rambled, causing Rihna to smile slightly. How innocent...

Soon after, everyone started to wake. Will, Mike, and (Y/N) blushed when they realized their positions. Will, of course, was enjoying having (Y/N) sleep on him, but when she blushed, it caused him to get slightly embarrassed as well.

"Mike?" They heard from upstairs.

"Oh shit! It's my mom!" He yelled. "Rihna, hide in the bathroom." He said in a rush. The woman nodded and quickly moved into the bathroom and shut the door right before Mike's mom came downstairs. That was a close call.

"Oh! Thank god you're all here! Your parents were very worried. I'll call them back to let them know you're all here." Karen said, heading back upstairs.

"S-sorry to cause you the trouble. W-we were just so tired last night, we ended up falling asleep." Lucas said somewhat loudly, causing Karen to stop and give them an understanding smile.

"Oh no problem, just remember to call them next time. Anyway, Mike, I'm heading out to work and so is your father. Nancy is already at Steve's so don't do anything stupid got it?"

"Got it, mom." Karen nodded then left, and Rihna came out of the bathroom.

"How are you feeling (Y/N)?" Will asked, causing her to shrug.

"Better than yesterday for sure." She stated, gently trying to fix her hair. Rihna's eyes examined the room. She didn't talk a lot, it must've been because she was all alone in the Upside Down and didn't really have anyone to talk to.

"Whatcha looking at Rihna?" Dustin questioned, causing her to look at him. Rihna thought of what to say, but nothing came to mind. One thing did...

"This fort..." She started. "Was if for Eleven?" Everyone looked at Mike, who looked down and nodded. Rihna's claw touched the fabric on the floor, then the claw reached for the walkie-talkie. "This is how she showed you Will was alive."

"Ho-how do you know this stuff?" Mike questioned. The silver-haired woman stared at Mike for a second then spoke.

"I see her laying here. When I touched the blanket I saw her."

"W-wait you can see things by touch? C-can you see the future?" Dustin asked the woman shook her head.

"No. Just the past." The group nodded.

"What now?" Will asked, looking around.

"Maybe you can start being honest with your feelings," Rihna said, her statement aimed at Will. His eyes widened knowing EXACTLY what Rihna meant.

"I-I have no idea what you're talking about." He said, a light blush dusting his cheeks.

"Oh, I agree with Rihna." Dustin laughed, along with Lucas.

"I don't get it." (Y/N) voiced, causing the two to laugh harder.

"I'm gonna go make something to eat." Lucas laughed, heading upstairs. Dustin followed, with (Y/N) right behind them.

"Come on Rihna, Mike's mom should be gone by now." The tall silverette nodded and walked upstairs with (Y/N). That just left Mike and Will all alone downstairs. Before Will could leave as well, Mike grabbed his arm.

"You like (Y/N)." At first Will was going to deny it, but clearly, everyone knew, so he chose not to.

"Yeah, I do. Why." Mike didn't speak, he just looked at the ground. "N-no way. You like her too?"

"Yeah, is there a problem with that?" Mike asked, in a challenging tone. Will was slightly taken aback but didn't falter. He yanked his arm out of Mike's grip and turned to look at him.

"What happened to Eleven? You were obsessed with her just a few days ago." He stated, in a somewhat cold voice.

"What do you mean?"

"Oh come on Mike. Just Halloween night telling me how you thought you'd still saw Eleven. Now that's suddenly gone and you like (Y/N) now." Obviously, Will was upset.

"What? You're saying I can't like (Y/N)?" Will didn't answer, but it was clear that's what he wanted. "Say it Will." Mike taunted, but Will didn't say anything; he stayed silent. "Say it." Mike was taller than Will, so when he moved closer, he stared him down.

"Stay away from (Y/N)." Will said in a low voice.

"There it is. I knew it. Well then Will... maybe I want her."

"You have Eleven. Rihna said she's coming back so why don't you just start obsessing over her again." The two stared each other down.

"Excuse me?"

"Go. Back. To. Eleven." Mike laughed at Will. He gave the smaller boy a slight push.

"Don't tell me what to do. What are you scared? You don't think you can win her huh?" Will balled his fists, anger coursing through him. He didn't care that Mike was his best friend... Mike couldn't have (Y/N). Suddenly, a purple blade came in between them, causing them to move back. It was Rihna. Just her, no one else.

"Calm down." Was all she said, the two boys looked away from each other. "Food's done." Mike went first, then Rihna, then Will.

"H-hey you two ok?" (Y/N) asked, causing both Will and Mike to look at her. They nodded immediately and moved to her. "So I was thinking that we could head down to the lake and hang out there."

"Ooh, sounds fun." Will smiled, causing (Y/N) to smile as well.

"Yeah, that doesn't sound too bad." Dustin agreed. Soon the group got ready and headed to each other's houses so they could grab their stuff. They decided to leave their bikes and just walk since Rihna had nothing to ride and she wouldn't fit on their bikes.
