i wish i was older

dear mom,

daddy wouldn't let me see the kind man 

who would give me my favorite lollipop.

remember the cherry flavored ones? 

daddy said no.

i asked daddy why because it was weird. 

but, he told me that i wouldn't understand until i was older.

mommy, that's stupid and weird.
