dear mom,

when i went inside the cafeteria,

everything was quiet,

people were staring at benedict and i,

and truth be told i had a feeling i would have some enemies,

so i did the only thing i could think of.

"he's my brother!"

i screamed it out to everyone,

and all the glares i received were now replace with smiles of relief.

thank goodness for my brilliant brain,

or else i be facing another year of almost dying,

most likely.

i decided to sit in an empty table,

where all of the seats were then piled in with a few people,

and the awkwardness from the cafeteria left as everyone began talking again.

"so you're benedict's sister?"

a girl with strawberry blonde hair,

who was wearing huge glasses with blue suspenders along with shorts that had multiple designs in printed on them,

asked me.

"mhm."

i told her even though i knew i was lying and felt pretty bad.

"that's so cool!"

another girl swayed with jealously,

she had dark blue dyed hair with emerald eyes,

she was wearing a high skirt dress sort,

with a bright green flower clip on in her hair.

after a little bit,

i got to know more about the girls,

and even found out their names.

the one with dark blue hair was lexie,

the one with the suspenders was alicia.

and then the girl who was swooning and going all fangirl on me was iz,

these girls actually wanted to be my friend not because of benedict but because i seemed interesting,

and apparently from lexie,

iz and alicia love mysteries.

after we finished talking,

a guy came over and he smiled a pearly white smile.

"oh hey adam."

all of the girls said at once and waved,

adam the guy who was smiling,

sat by me and showed me a smile.

"hi you must be the new girl,

i see you met my weird buddies,"

"hey!"

all of the girls said at once in an annoyance,

and adam laughed at this.

"i'm adam."

he had his hand out,

and i shook it with a simple smile.

"nice to meet you."

all of us ended up cracking up jokes,

and embarrassing ourselves.

i think i just made new friends.

love,

ann

happily written on arm.
