dear mom,
cedric's been hanging out with me for a while now.
i told him about how aaron ditched me for emma.
oh yeah, about emma, if you've heard of the rumors,
which i'm guessing you have then you'll know that they are right.
it's true that i, your daughter,
punched emma right in the jaw.
it felt so good.
she was saying some crap about daddy and you.
i just had enough of it.
so, i walked right up to her,
and told her very politely to take it back.
she laughed at me and told me no.
so, i asked once again, and explained how if she didn't,
she was going to regret what she just said.
she didn't.
so, next thing, i remember, i was right on top of her
slamming my fists right into her face.
i started hitting her jaw first,.
then, eventually i made my way to her eyes.
she was screaming at me to get off of her.
screaming for people to help her out.
but, nobody did anything,
well nobody except for cedric.
he had to pull me off and look me right into the eyes.
he told me how that was enough.
he pulled me out of the classroom and led me into the infirmary.
we didn't say anything as he started cleaning my bloodied knuckles
and icing the bruises that were starting to form on my hands.
after he was done, i don't know why,
but i started feeling something roll down my cheeks.
he looked up at me with this face that was filled with concern.
he didn't say anything.
he just placed his arms around me slowly soothing me
as his hands rubbed circles on my back.
love,
ann
