dear mom,

daddy took me home

after he was done speaking to the principal. 

the principal told daddy that i would need to stay home for a few days. 

daddy said okay.

but, then he said something that made daddy look really angry.

it was quiet in the car ride over to home.

when we reached our home and went inside, 

daddy started yelling at me,

and saying some really mean things. 

i watched as daddy took off his belt

and smacked it against his hand.

mommy i was so scared.

i tried to run away but daddy stopped me.

he told me i needed to learn

not to hurt people.

mommy,

daddy hurt me.

he hurt me with the belt.

mommy,

daddy was so mad.
