dear mom,

i heard the sound of pounding on the door,

i could hear cedric's and aaron's voice,

both calling out to me mommy.

i could already see the door starting,

to break open free mommy.

i was going to be free,

i was going to be saved mommy!

emma was already starting to panic now,

she quickly told jack to let me go.

and i was happy,

that was until i remembered,

i was lifted in the air,

off the edge of the school's roof.

he listened to emma,

and as they both promised,

they both let me go.

as i was starting to fall,

i saw the door quickly open up,

and both of the boys running over to the rails.

both boys jumping over the rail,

trying to reach for my hand,

but in the end missed.

how people say that when you're going to die,

your life flashes right in your eyes.

well that's what was happening to me mommy.

i was remembering all of the good memories,

of when daddy and you were around,

the times when daddy and you were both alive,

and happy.

the time when daddy would tuck me in bed,

and kiss my forehead.

the time where you would surprise me,

with new cherry lollipops and giving me,

warm hugs.

the time when both of you and daddy,

let me sleep with you guys when a thunder came.

the time when we had christmas,

halloween,

easter,

thanksgiving,

everything with each other.

i remember,

the memories of aaron,

of how he brought me flowers on my birthday,

gave me hugs when i needed them,

let me play with him and his friends,

the mud baths,

the silly conversations.

i remember the memories of cedric,

how he wanted to be my friend,

how he taught me to play a videogame,

how he taught me happiness,

love,

laughter,

and just that life was perfect.

i remember closing my eyes mommy,

and having a smile left on my face,

as i decided,

if i died today,

it would be fine.

i would be fine with it.
