dear mom,

we were dropped off by aaron's grandparents

and went inside the school building together.

we both knew that we broke the number one rule in school.

aaron didn't really seem to mind or care really though.

we walked inside the classroom

hand and hand.

the teacher glared at us and asked us politely to let go of each other hands.

so, we let go of each other's hands.

i was sort of a bit disappointed that we had to stop holding hands with each other.

his hand felt nice.

i decided to sit myself in the back of the classroom

and soon i found aaron sitting right next to me in a seat.

after everyone sat themselves down and everything was all quiet.

the teacher spoke about how we were going to be separated in a few minutes

because we were all going to be spoken to about something.

the teacher was interrupted, however, by another teacher

and they whispered something into the teacher's ear.

when the other teacher left us,

i watched as our teacher told us how that wasn't going to happen.

how instead everyone was going to stay in the same room

and how we were all going to be taught about what happens to our bodies

as we grow up.

about how we would be developing soon physically.

like how the boys would get deeper voices

and the girls would get mature voices,

alongside with a few extra things.

the teacher tried to explain more things to us

but everyone was just feeling really uncomfortable by the end of the topic.

i was interested, however, with the lesson we were having

even though it really was a bit awkward!

everything was going all well until the teacher spoke about

how children were born.

they didn't go in depth about the process.

but, still it was really gross to hear.

so i left the classroom to go to the bathroom.

when i exited from the bathroom i saw aaron,

it was kind of weird and sort of embarrassing.

he waved at me shyly with this small smile

and i did the same back to him.

we didn't say anything to each other as we went back to the classroom though.

it was weird.

really weird.

love,

ann
