Rebekah Mikaelson stepped into the hallway of her family home and was met with immediate silence. Wondering where her brother and Evangeline were, she began to walk further down the hall as her siblings made their way in behind her. As Rebekah rounded her way into the living room, her eyes caught sight of a lump on the couch and she did a double take, hardly believing what she was seeing. Snuggled up together were Elijah and Evangeline, wrapped in each other's arms as they rested peacefully. Evangeline was laying back against her eldest brother's chest with her hands folded underneath her cheek, while Elijah had both of his arms wrapped around her midsection. They looked absolutely perfect. Rebekah slapped a hand over her mouth to keep from squealing aloud, and ran back to grab Freya. She dragged her sister back down the hallway, Freya grumbling as she did so, and pointed to the sleeping forms of Evangeline and Elijah. The Mikaelson witch started to silently coo in admiration. As both sisters stood together watching them sleep, Kol and Klaus wandered in, both wanting to see what was the matter. Kol gazed upon his brother and the young vampire-witch with a warm smile, muttering something surrounding how they finally gave in, however, Klaus was less than pleased. He scowled as he gazed at them, his eyebrows knitting together in annoyance. As he opened his mouth to make a snarky comment, Elijah began to stir, his eyes opening wide the minute he sensed his family's presence. Slowly slipping out from underneath Evangeline, he slid his arms under her body, not bothering to hide the fact that she was only in his dress shirt and panties, and carried her up the stairs to her room. Before returning downstairs to confront his family, he gently tucked her into the bed and placed a sweet kiss on her forehead.
Rebekah and Freya were grinning madly as Elijah returned. He caught sight of their expressions immediately and sighed. They all knew. There was no sense in hiding it.
"I suppose I can't ask you how your travels were?"
"There's always time for that later." Rebekah exclaimed, a large smile on her face. "Now, dear brother, spill the details."
"Evangeline and I have made up." Elijah claimed.
"Well, yeah, we could see that from a mile away." Kol chuckled. "And by the fact that you are grinning ear to ear because you got laid."
"Don't forget the fact that she was in his shirt." Rebekah cut in.
"Alright, yes, Evangeline and I shared a night together."
"When did this happen?" Freya asked.
"Saturday night, and a couple of times after..."
"Atta boy!" Kol pumped a fist into the air.
"You seem happy." Freya commented as she shook her head at Kol.
"I am." Elijah admitted, watching his brother and sisters all give him reassuring smiles.
"I'm glad to see you happy." Kol chuckled. "It's a nice change from the grumpy Elijah we've seen lately."
The Mikaelson siblings laughed, all sharing the moment together, and relishing in the joy Elijah held on his face. He truly did seem happy, and that was something that he never seemed to let himself be.

As Evangeline began to stir, the light from the sun streaming in through the windows, she found Elijah laying quietly beside her, his brown eyes meeting her own.
"Were you watching me sleep?" She mumbled in a sleepy tone.
"Guilty as charged." Elijah chuckled.
"You're crazy." Evangeline smiled as she snuggled into his side.
"And you're absolutely beautiful."
Evangeline felt herself blushing madly, before she was distracted by the sounds of dishes downstairs.
"Are they home?"
Elijah nodded. "They returned this morning while we were asleep."
"Did they find us?"
"I'm afraid so. After I woke up, I carried you here so that you could rest some more. I'm sure you need some time to prepare yourself before you're bombarded with a million questions."
"I appreciate the thought and care." Evangeline replied, reaching up to cup Elijah's face and bringing his mouth to hers. When she pulled away, she bit her bottom lip nervously. "Do they know everything?"
"They claim to have sensed it the moment they saw us, but I think you wearing nothing but my shirt and those cheeky little panties kind of gave it away."
"I didn't think about the fact that they were coming home." Evangeline sighed, feeling a bit embarrassed. "Now that's a side of me they won't be able to unsee."
"I don't know about you, but I'd very much like to never unsee it." Elijah teased, playing with the hem of her shirt.
"Have I mentioned that I like this side of you?" She giggled.
"No, you haven't, but I will try and have it come out more if that pleases you."
"Definitely." Evangeline nodded, cuddling in closer to him. "Do you think they hear us up here?"
"I have no doubt of that. I highly suspect Rebekah and Freya have their ears pressed to the staircase listening to this very conversation." Elijah chucked.
"I guess we'll have to go down there and face them. It's now or never."
"I'm expecting a very large I told you so."
"Great." Evangeline muttered, her words dripping with sarcasm.
