A N T H O N Y

We walked in the house hand in hand and only that made me feel so close with her. As long as our fingers are interlocked, I'm sane.

"Hey guys!" Beth yelled behind me and without turning around I knew it was her. She hugged Rose first, exchanged smiles with her then hugged me. "So you finally came." She said.

"Yeah, we thought we'd have fun." I kept my hand in Rose's.

Beth smirked, looked at Rose then took a step closer to me so Rose wouldn't hear what she was going to say. "I'm seeing you aren't doing anything without her hanging from your tale."

I bit my lip, hiding my smile then looked at Rose. I don't know what got into me and how I became so attached to her company. But her eyes weren't even on us. When I followed what she was looking at, I saw Lindsay's back. It was supposed to make me happy knowing that she wants to show me off to Lindsay but it didn't because it was bothering her. She felt like she has to prove to someone that I love her whom doesn't even need to have any proofs to anything.

Did I just say love?

"I think you should put an end to this whole drama." Even Beth realized. I nodded and kept my eyes on Rose. I shook my head when I saw her so hooked up with the idea of having to prove herself.

"Uhm," Rose started, catching our attentions. "I will go hang with Dylan. Come join whenever you want to." She told me, smiling.

"Rose," I held my hand back so she turned to face me again, hummed for a response to my call. "Stay in the kitchen. Don't drink anything and don't take any drinks from anyone. I'll come join in a second." I told her.  I knew I was harsh saying that but knowing what everyone here does every party in this house and how many people are victims to so many things I don't even want to think about happening to Rose scares me.

She walked to Dylan and hugged him tightly then walked with him to the kitchen. Her being with Dylan calmed my anxiety just a little.

"You don't need to worry too much about her. She's not a child." Beth said, digging her hands in her pockets.

"She's not a child," I looked at her as she disappeared in the crowd, "but she's way too innocent to know what happens here." I smiled. That's what I like about her. How pure she is and how she acts all tough and able to take care of herself but I know better. She's like an angel that came newly on earth, not knowing what really happens. I don't have the best life and she can't be herself around the people in my life. I may feel a little bad for being the reason to open her eyes to this envy world but I want her to know me, the real me.

"Why did you bring her with you then?" She asked.

"She wanted to come." I shrugged. I didn't even want to come. I just want to be with her.

"Just get rid of Lindsay and your life will be awesome." She said and walked away.

I sighed, closed my eyes then turned around to search Lindsay. This whole thing has to have and end and today. I sniffed, biting my lip when I saw her. Now, every time I see her my anger grows towards her. Her blonde hair were in a ponytail. She may look innocent but he personality is nothing like the way she looks. She is a devil dressed like an angel. It was fun messing around with her until it turned serious to her and all of sudden, without me knowing, I was hers. It didn't bother me before because I was enjoying my time with her, until Rose. Rose was my red line that she kept passing and it needs to stop.

"Lindsay." I called. I decided to be calm but my tone was not helping. I was loud and harsh but I couldn't care less. "Can we talk?" I said as soon as she turned to look at me. She smiled, nodded then followed me to the corner. I didn't want Rose to see me talking to ber because simply, I didn't want to ruin her night, I didn't want to explain myself if she sees me and I didn't want her to get mad and argue with her.
