R O S A B E L L A

I groaned when I heard someone making noises outside of my apartment door. I rolled my eyes and got up to go yell at them right when someone knocked on the door. I widen my eyes and saw that it was almost 3:00 AM on the watch. Who would come now? I approached the door softy. I pressed my ears to the door, seeing if I could hear anything at all but I didn't.

Another loud knock on the door startled me away from the door and made me gasp. I closed my eyes to take my breathe.

"It's me, Rose. Open the door." He knocked again. It was Anthony. I frowned. What is he doing here right now.

"What do you want?" All of sudden, I felt fully awake and got angry for waking me up just to piss me off and leave.

"Please, open the door." He said from the other side.

"I'm not opening any doors. Go home, it's 3:00!" I yelled.

"I'm not leaving and I won't stop knocking until you open the door and let me in."

"Anthony, I have neighbours." I said through my clenched teeth.

"Do you think that will stop me?"

"I will call the cops."

"Do it, if you can."

I closed my eyes, crossed my arms and sighed. True, I can't call the cops on him but I can't just open the door and act all okay when he blamed for something he is sure he didn't do.

"Rose, open up," his voice was getting lower. "I need you." I barely heard what he said but I did and even if I was mad at him, I lost my anger because of what he said and the tone he used.

I opened the door and he looked up and smiled. He wasn't expecting me to open, at least not anytime soon from the way he was looking at me.

I crossed my arms and looked at him with angry eyes even if I wasn't angry at him anymore. He had to know that I'm mad and that what he did hurts.

He stepped closer to me and held my hand, still having the huge smile glued to his lips.

"Thanks." He excitedly said, like the kid in Christmas eve.

"For?"

"Letting me in." He said, turning around and closing the door. I frowned.

"I didn't."

"Whatever." He waved his hand in the air.

"Anthony, it is passed 3:00 AM! What do you want?" I followed him to where he was going. He was analyzing the apartment but when I talked he turned back to face me again.

"I couldn't sleep with you being mad at me." He softly said and my heart dropped. I wanted to smile, thank him and hug him just because of this small sentence but I just bit my lip and looked at his eyes. "Dad told me that if I come and apologize, you'll forgive me."

"How do you know that?" I challenged him.

"I don't. My dad does. But I know that you won't let me leave while you're mad at me still." He smiled. I shook my head and sat down on my couch. He approached and took a seat right next to me. "I bought you a gift." He said, pushing his hand in his jacket pocket and taking out a big box. It had the iPhone sign on it and the iPhone image on the top. I looked at him. "Since I broke your phone and you obviously need a new phone, I thought I'd get you an iPhone, it's at least better than what you had." He placed the box on my lap.

"Anthony," I was just about to refuse his gift but he cut me saying.

"I know you'll say you can't take it and stuff but I owe you a phone since I broke yours. So you can't refuse it."
