Layla sits in her office, sorting through the data reports Natalia had given her that morning. She takes a sip of her tea as she reads about Grock's increasing stress levels and constipation. A banging from her door interrupts her work.
Layla: Come in!
Gord pushes the door open forcefully, causing it to bang into the wall. He slams it shut before sitting down on a sofa.
Layla: Good aft-
Gord: Don't good afternoon me! I'm wasting my time here instead of watching people scream because someone thinks I have anger issues! I DON'T HAVE ANGER ISSUES!
Layla: Oh...
Layla hopes the brave soul that had told Gord about his temper had survived, even though there was only a 0.0001% chance of that happening.
Layla: Why do you think you're always in such a bad mood?
Gord: Too many people bother me!
Layla: What if they bother you because they like you?
Gord: No, they just like my name!
Layla: But if you were nicer, more people would call you because they want you to come.
Gord: I don't need to be nice to those animals.
Layla: How about you try it for one day? Just one day and that's it.
Gord: And have people knocking at my door every single time they want to talk?
Layla: That wouldn't be too bad.
Gord: It wouldn't. It would be incredibly bad!
Layla: Who do you like most out of everyone here?
Gord: Cyclops. He lets me watch YouTube.
Layla: I think you should try being nice to Cyclops first.
Gord: No.
Gord gets up to leave. Just as he is about to bang the door back, Layla calls out to him.
Layla: Just try it! It migh-
The door bangs shut.
The next day...
Gord heads off to find Cyclops to get a device. It was annoying how many times he had to search for the one-eyed creature every day, but he had nothing else to do except watch YouTube. Gord spots him in a field with Lolita and Chou.
Chou: I wish someone would like me.
Lolita: You sound depressed.
Chou: Of course I sound depressed! I mean, Lancelot has Odette and a bunch of other fangirls, Bruno's getting along well with Karrie, Alucard's hitting it off with Ruby, Hayabusa has Kagura who likes him, and Harley is getting crushed on, even though he's a kid!
Lolita: ...
Cyclops: What about me?
Chou: I think Helcurt likes you.
Cyclops: Who's that?
Lolita: It's a weird creature that looks like it's a Photoshopped version of Natalia.
Cyclops: Oh, that makes sense.
Chou: I want to find love.
Lolita: Alpha is single.
