Namjoon knew that the moment the Hira family had left the Kim family mansion, and their father had retired to his study or bedroom, that he would be attacked by the six others.
His suspicions were, as expected, spot on.
He wasn't quite sure who's hands it were that were blindly dragging him into the northern hallways, leading to the boys' old bedrooms. But judging by the size, he'd have to guess Taehyung. It was also quite easy to anticipate that his captor was taking him to the five others, so Namjoon just relaxed and let whatever was going to happen, happen.
Sure enough, he is dragged into a large room with greyish-navy colored walls, meaning that he was in Jungkook's old room. All of the boys were in their mid-twenties, so all of them had moved out of the old family home and into their new, respective homes paid for by their work and ownership over small portions of the family company.
Only the three eldest had already settled their claims to portions of the company. Yoongi resided over a large warehouse in Busan. Hoseok worked as an assistant CEO in the Seoul establishment, which was essentially the prime building. It's where the company was first build, so it was now simply considered the headquarters of the Kim family company.
Seokjin, however, was a special case. According to their father, it was now likely that Seokjin would be staying in Seoul for a lot longer than he had previously anticipated, given his newfound lifelong assignment by Namjoon's side.
Namjoon sighs, his chest heavy. In a matter of minutes, his entire life was turned upside down. No longer would he and the boys sing in a idol group. Now he would eternally be stuck tending to a company that he couldn't care less about.
Taehyung--or so he was assuming--comes to a halt, and wheels the older male around to see the other five boys sitting in a half dome around the room. He must say, they all looked quite regal, sitting with their legs crossed and dressed in pressed shirts and black dress pants. It differed from their typical attire, but still gave each of them a certain aura of professionalism.
"Take a seat." Taehyung--Namjoon had guessed correctly--gestures to the chair that sat parallel to the half dome formed by the six other boys. Namjoon blinks. He had thought that they would be giddy, asking him about twenty different questions all at once.
Such questions as;
"How do you feel?"
"Think Seokjin hyung will be angry?"
"It's lucky that (Y/n) didn't recognize us instantly. That'd be awkward."
"You're going to marry the Hira (Y/n), Namjoon hyung!!!"
All of these, were the most likely outcomes. Yet, what really was asked wasn't as shocking or surprising as Namjoon was beginning to think.
"Did you expect us to not talk about the fact that YOU'RE ENGAGED TO HIRA (Y/N)?!" Hoseok demands, immediately making the somewhat tense feeling in the air of the partially abandoned bedroom more happy and light.
"I was hoping not to..." Namjoon trails off. He was completely oblivious to the youngest of the seven brothers's gaze lingering on him for a bit longer than typically socially acceptable.
He was oblivious to the pot of jealousy that was coming to a slow boil behind the maknae's eyes.
