    You laugh, closing your eyes and showing extra teeth, at what Taehyung had said. Taehyung smirks, his eyes sneaking over to look at a sulking Min Yoongi that sat at the table nearly three meters away from you.

    It was almost sad, really. Watching the struggle and tension that was simmering between you and the feared Min Yoongi.

   What was even more depressing was watching Yoongi stare at you longingly while he sat with Kim Seokjin, Jung Hoseok, and Kim Namjoon.

    But to Kim Taehyung, it wasn't saddening.

    No.

   Seeing the older male flinch everytime you smile at Taehyung was like a victory trophy that he was rewarded everytime he got to see Yoongi suffer at the hands of Taehyung and the oblivious (Y/n).

     But all of this; Yoongi's guilt and Taehyung's faux triumph, were not overlooked by you.

    No, you noticed the way that Taehyung would always glance at Yoongi everytime he talked to you. You noticed the way that Yoongi's gaze would constantly stare at you for a shameless minute too long.

    It was extremely difficult to act like you didn't notice, nor care.

    But it was your part to play. It's the only way that you can truly let Min Yoongi go.

  

     Except

    Min Yoongi wasn't falling anymore.

     He wasn't about to let himself drop out of existence. He wasn't about to let himself fall out of love with you.

      Most importantly, he wasn't about to let some little opportunist named Kim Taehyung steal you away just when Yoongi had won you over.

    "Suga hyung, are you okay?" Namjoon asks, prodding at the older's forearm, using both the male's alter name and honorifics.

    The seven of them; Namjoon, Seokjin, Yoongi, Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook were all in a small group. Granted, it wasn't necessarily a well-behaved group. In all honesty, it was more of a gang.

    They're all well-knit and close together group of best friends.

    But sometimes, they have small disputes between one another.

    More specifically, fights over a girl.

    "Yeah." Yoongi replies, shoving his food tray back and violently exiting the room.

    All the while, your eyes follow him as he leaves the courtyard.

     You let out an overly exaggerated sigh as you set down your book back at the large window seat. Recently you've been coming to the public library, rather than the library at school. Not only was it larger, grander, and far more quiet, it was also a great escape for you to get away from Yoongi and Taehyung's pointless bickering.
