You didn't really mind working part-time as a waitress.

You've heard girls complaining about how horrible of a career choice it was. About how frustrating it was to deal with so many people, who are often times overly rude and disrespectful to the people who are serving them.

Personally, you didn't particularly face the same issue. You worked at a small restaurant that never really had a huge amount of customers at a time, not including friday and saturday nights and holidays. Yet, it still had enough to keep the place going and pay its few customers well. And it wasn't your primary job. It was simply a weekend or free-time job that you had gotten to help pay off student loan debts in the future.

There were only around five people who worked at the restaurant, including you. Two chefs, who remained in the back and only conversed when absolutely necessary, and two other waiters. A waitress, a westerner named Elise, whom you had come to like very much due to her soft energy and kind demeanor. The other server was a waiter, who called and introduced himself as 'Chae.' Though you expected that wasn't his real name. He was nice enough, and was very respectful to your fellow staff and the customers.

Yet, although there were five members of staff, there was another, who perhaps spent more time at the restaurant than the servers did.

He was young-looking, with a kind face and beautiful, wide eyes. He always ordered the same drink, and sat in the same booth. Sometimes he ordered a meal, but not always.

How, you had gathered all these details?

Simple. He always sat in your section.

Sometimes it was Chae's section, which you presume he served the boy whenever you were in school or at your other job. But most times, you were the one who served his meals and memorized his patterns, and so forth.

   He was always there.

Initially, you brushed him off as nothing more than a recurring customer. Perhaps he enjoyed the food, or the polite customer service.

It didn't take long for you to realize that there was a much different reasoning.

   _

You had just gotten out of a particularly grueling lecture about the different languages of love in completely different countries, and how they resembled one another. It was an odd class, that you'd taken because it was costless and had originally thought it'd be fun to learn about language.

In any case, since the lecture was longer than you'd thought it was, you were already late to get to the restaurant to pick up your shift.

You stumble into the courtyard, recklessly shoving notes and stray papers with incoherent scribbles on them into your bag, before sifting around in search of the black dress that was your work uniform.

As you carelessly half walked, half ran, you blindly walk right into a wall. Falling back onto your butt, you reel back from the unexpected and blunt impact.

Except, it wasn't a wall. Suddenly, a hand extends down towards you in an offer to help you up. Sighing, you take the hand, brushing yourself off as soon as you were on your feet once again.

"Wait...you're the girl from the restaurant, right?" A vaguely familiar voice inqires from above you. Your head snaps upwards, eyes immediately finding the boy from the corner booth.

"You're that one boy. I didn't know we attended the same university." You laugh lightly, almost completely forgetting that you had somewhere to be.

    Almost.

"Hey...um, I'm late for my shift. But... feel free to come by around seven, and we can talk more?" You ask sheepishly. The boy doesn't even waver, nor hesitate.

"Sounds great. I'm Jungkook, by the way."

"(Y/n). A pleasure to finally meet you."
