(G/n)= girl's name
×××
Yoongi stared at her, watching her walk into the school calmly, her facial expression light and airy.
It made his heart clench.
She never looked light and airy.
Unless she was hiding something.
She turns, spotting him standing at the corner, surrounded by his six other friends. It was as if their gazes were magnetically drawn to one another. They could always spot eachother in a crowd.
No matter how hard both of them tried not to.
Her mask cracks, letting a glimmer of heartbreak to shine through. But she skillfully repairs her facade, tearing her gaze from his. Nothing material could measure how much he missed her.
"Yooonngggiiii!" An voice chirps from where (Y/n) was standing. He looks up hopefully.
But that tiny glimmer of hope that maybe, just maybe, that (Y/n) had forgiven him, was soon crushed.
"Hi..... (G/n)...." Yoongi says, rolling his dark chocolate brown eyes. Abby was the literal bane of his existence.
After all,
It was her, that made sure that (Y/n) would never love Yoongi again.
▪Three Months Earlier▪
(Y/n) tucks a strand of (h/c) hair behind her ear, smiling at her boyfriend, Yoongi, from across the hall. Yoongi smiles back, beginning to walk towards you.
Up until the queenka of the school; (G/n), grabs him by the collar of his school uniform, pulling him to the gap between two sets of lockers. (Y/n) blinks, her head tilting.
(G/n)'s lips immediately press against Yoongi's, even going as far as to sliding her tongue against his bottom lip.
In the school hallways.
(Y/n) just stood frozen, watching as (G/n) shoved her tongue down Yoongi's throat forcefully. "Yoongi?" She murmurs, waiting for him to pull away.
But he didn't.
(G/n) reaches forward, not removing her lips from (Y/n)'s boyfriend's lips, grabbing his hands and setting them on her butt. (Y/n) flinches.
She turns, feeling completely numb.
She would stop the whirlwind of emotions, for now.
She wouldn't let him see how he hurt her.
▪Present Day▪
"Why aren't you inside, Sugar?" (G/n) coos, adding an extra consonant to his stage name, or nickname. (G/n) throws her arms over Yoongi's neck, pressing her chest against Yoongi's. He cringes, clamping his eyes shut, trying to numb her presense completely.
Or, although wrong in so many ways, imagine it was (Y/n) being so close to Yoongi, rather than (G/n).
"Look at me, Sugar." She says, using her perfectly-manicured hand to clamp down on his jaw and force him to look at her.
She was beautiful, in a technical way. She was foreign, a girl from America with honey-colored hair and aquamarine eyes that she framed with several layers of eyeliner, mascara, and fake lashes. She purses her cherry-lip-gloss smothered lips, leaning in for a kiss.
Yoongi struggles to turn his head, gasping at the air away from her. But she was stronger than she appeared. Her grip on his jaw remained strong, and unfaltering.
Suddenly, an outside force bumps into Yoongi and (G/n), making her tight hold on him hiccup. Yoongi hops back, thanking every higher power there was that someone decided to not watch where they were walking, and bump into him before the she-devil could clamp her chemical-smelling, lip-gloss drenched lips onto Yoongi's.
He looks up, ready to thank whoever bumped into them.
What he hadn't anticipated, was seeing (Y/n), walking away as if nothing had happened.
Seeing the open opportunity, Yoongi scrambles upward, darting after her.
He reaches out, grabbing her wrist. She jerk back, trying to yank her limb free. Her eyes were bloodshot. As if she'd been crying. A lot.
"(Y/n)--"
"Don't." She whimpers shakily, wiping her eye with the heel of her palm. Yoongi's entire being was overcome with unbelievable grief, guilt, pain, heartbreak.
"Hear me out?" Yoongi pleads, his grip on his ex's wrist tightening.
She doesn't reply, and instead looks at the ground. Taking it as an agreement, Yoongi begins spouting off his explanation.
"She forced herself on me and I--"
"I know." (Y/N) murmurs, meeting his gaze hesitantly. Yoongi stares at her, his entire i'm-so-sorry-be-my-girlfriend-again-i-can't-live-without-you speech, rendered completely forgotten.
"You knew?"
"I wasn't upset that she kissed you. I'm upset that you didn't pull away. I'm upset that it took you three months to tell me. To come back to me." She sobs quietly. Yoongi's heart quietly begins to break.
"I loved you, Min Yoongi. I still love you. I'm pretty sure I will always lo--"
Yoongi stops her by pressing his lips against hers.
It was like a cage of butterflies had been opened in the stomachs of both (Y/N) and Yoongi.
Funny, how they say that when you kiss the one you love, it's like the world around you goes quiet for a minute.
That wasn't the case for (Y/N) and Min Yoongi.
It was as if World War III was going on around them. Which, given (G/n)'s track record on how she reacts when she doesn't get exactly what she wants, is a possibility.
(Y/n) hesitantly molds her lips into Yoongi's, settling her arms around his neck. His hands immediately, willingly, settle on the small of her back, pressing her to him.
They pull away for air after what felt like seconds, but in reality was most likely several minutes.
Completely ignoring the absolutely seething (G/n) in the background, Yoongi rests his forehead against (Y/n)'s.
"Never leave me again," Yoongi murmurs.
"Never give me a reason to."
