A bit of a crossover. This contains sensitive topics, since it is inspired by my favorite ship in American Horror Story.

|| THIRD PERSON||
The next day...
"Care to explain what happened yesterday?"Veronica Lodge stormed to her best friend's locker, demanding an answer from the blonde haired girl who have obviously changed in less than twenty-four hours.
Betty Cooper stood by her locker door, wearing a pair of black high-waisted jeans and a white flowy crop top with a plunging neckline and a choker. She wore combat boots, and her hair was in a half-ponytail.
Veronica would never approve of this outfit on her best friend.
"What the hell are you wearing?"The raven-haired girl asked, eyeing Betty's 'scandalous' outfit with judgmental eyes. "You've gone out of your mind! Where have you been yesterday? What did you do? What happened to you?"As Veronica continued to stack questions on her, Betty grew irritated, but ignored all of the questions. Instead, she continued pulling books out of her locker, not surprised by her everyone's reaction and comments.
Jughead had told her he would arrive at the school five minutes later than he usually does. At that moment, all Betty wanted was for Jughead to be right beside her and scare off everyone who even got in her way.
"Stop ignoring me!"Veronica yelled at her, creating a scene in the hallway, but Betty didn't mind. She was used to attention, anyways. Just not the kind of attention she was getting in that moment. Everyone in the hallway was silent, and all eyes were on them.
"What the hell do you want?"Betty asked, obviously annoyed, heaving an exhausted sigh. Veronica furrowed her eyebrows at her best friend and huffed, giving her a sarcastic smile. "Did you seriously think I won't notice how much you changed since yesterday? Don't you think I'm suspicious of your recent decisions?"
"Of course I knew you'd notice, I'm not stupid."Betty replied, rolling her eyes at her 'best friend'. "But that's the problem. You only saw how much I changed since yesterday, not since we got back from break a month and a half ago."
"What the hell are you talking about?"Veronica asked.
"What do you think I did yesterday?"Betty asked her, stepping forward, folding her arms over her chest. "You said you grew suspicious, surely you had a guess of what I ditched classes for."She shrugged.
"I think you became someone's slût."Veronica bravely spoke, and murmurs quickly rose from the crowd. Betty remained silent, glaring at Veronica, who only smirked at her. "What, Betty, cat got your tongue?"
"Don't you fúcking dare call her a slût."
Before Betty could say anything against Veronica, she felt an arm wrap around her shoulders, holding her close. She recognized his scent immediately—Jughead really did come five minutes later than he usually did. Betty looked up slightly and saw an angry expression on Jughead's face, his fist clenching, ready to knock Veronica out with one swing of his fist.
Veronica eyed the two and her jaw dropped, a mischievous smirk appearing on her face. "Oh my god, I totally get it now!"Murmurs started to rise from the crowd, now understanding the situation. "You're not just a slût—you're a Serpent slût!"
"Betty and Jughead? What the hell?"
"So he banged her and now she thinks he loves her?"
"Why is Betty doing this?"
"How can she be so naïve?"
"What a slùt."
Both Betty and Jughead could hear what everyone was saying about the two of them, and Jughead only held Betty closer to him. "Listen here, bítch."He said, calling Veronica's attention. "If there's a slût around here, it's you. Now if you even come near my girlfriend or even think about threatening her, everyone will find out about just how much of a slût you are."
Betty's eyes widened, looking up at Jughead in shock. He was staring directly at Veronica, who's face had gone red, speechless. Jughead could feel his blood boiling with anger, but when a hand laced around his, he started to calm down a little bit.
"Come on, Juggie. She's not worth it."Betty whispered to him, leading him away from her, and away from the crowd. A path was paved for them, out of the doors of Riverdale High. Jughead was so close to punching someone's face, but the blonde girl who was holding his hand and leading him away prevented him from doing so. Once they reached the back of the school, where he always parked his motorcycle, Betty pressed her lips against his in a searing kiss, filled with promise and love.
"You didn't have to protect me."Betty said once she pulled away, her hands on his shoulders. Jughead's hands were cupping her face, their eyesgazing into each other intensely, mesmerized by each other. "I had to."Jughead replied. "I couldn't just stand her and let her call you something you're not."He answered.
"Besides, I love you."
Betty was surprised by his words, her eyes wide with shock. "What?"She mumbled, staring at him confusedly. Betty never expected anyone to love her, much less him. But then, they're the same.
Attracted to the darkness.
"I love you, Betty Cooper."He repeated, unashamed of his words. He stared at her lovingly, and Betty couldn't fight the smit on her face. She went on the tip of her toes once again and pressed her lips against his for a brief moment only to pull away and look deepy into his eyes. "Jughead Jones,"She said.
"I love you."
