I know, I know. A Bughead Tag is one of the best things ever created.

1. When did you start shipping Bughead?

 It's actually kind of an interesting story.

You see, I read some of the original comics, but I never shipped Betty with Archie. From the very beginning, I was a Varchie person, and I never really thought that anyone from the comics would pair up with Betty. I was like, "Meh, she'll be too heartbroken to be with someone else."

So one day, before season one aired, I was re-reading a couple of pages of one of the comics I still have here at home and for the first time in the many years I have been reading Archie comics, I noticed how much Betty meant to Jughead. In that part of the comics, Betty left Riverdale and started her own life in the city, Varchie got married, and basically all of them grew up. Jughead was working at Pop's in that particular page, and he was talking to Midge about how he never related to any of the other girls except for Betty and that she was one of his best friends.

So I thought, "Lol, what if there was an alternate universe wherein Betty and Jughead were a couple? Seriously, I'd do anything just to see that."

I started lowkey shipping them, but what confirmed everything for me was the scene right below!

SERIOUSLY, WHO WOULDN'T GET SUSPICIOUS AT THESE TWO?! LOOK AT THEM!
