Jasmine was exhausted already as she watched her three nephews bounce around the living room.
"How the fuck do you do this everyday?" Jasmine muttered lowly to her sister
"I don't know." She shook her head as she admired Aaliyah in her arms
Aubrey stood in the kitchen with Khalil while their wives talked on the couch.
"So how's the tour?" Khalil asked
"It's good, man. I feel like this last album has really connected with my fans in a different way." Aubrey said
"That's good to hear, bro. How have things been with Jas?" Khalil probed
Jordan was asking the same thing back in the living room.
"What's it like being on tour with the baby? Can't be easy." Jordan asked
"It's...it's uh been good." Jasmine said succinctly
Jordan furrowed her brows."Jazzy."
"I mean it's challenging. Aubrey's busy but we have a nanny now, Deena. She's been amazing. I don't know if I could do it without her." Jasmine elaborated
"I was thinking of getting a nanny but I'm a stay at home mom. It feels pointless." Jordan said
"You deserve it more than anyone." Jasmine told her sincerely
Jordan smiled and leaned into her baby sister, resting her head on Jasmine's shoulder.
"I missed you." Jordan sighed
"I missed you too." Jasmine said
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you about the pregnancy. I found out a couple of weeks before I came to Toronto to see you. I didn't think that was a good time and then....it just never felt like a good time. But I should've told you." Jordan said
"I understand Jo. I'm happy for you. I'm so happy for you." Jasmine told her
Jordan nodded."Thank you. I just didn't want to hurt you any further."
"You aren't. I promise." Jas told her
"Oh before I forget, I got you a private suite for the show tonight. There will be food, couches and a bathroom for you. I'll meet you up there before it starts." Jasmine explained
