The amount of sleep Jimin had gotten, which wasn't very much in the first place, was cut short by a loud rattling and moving around outside his apartment door.

The sunlight blinded him making him want to close his eyes and fall asleep again. His eyes ached and reminded him of why he should actually try sleeping at night.

Jimin let out a heavy sigh as he moved his sun blanket aside and forced his eyes open again, the white from the snow reflecting brightly onto the sky.

Despite how much Jimin didn't want to see it, the sky was beautiful outside his broken windows. It was like anyone who didn't know what the ground looked like, would assume it was summertime.

At this point, Jimin didn't care what he looked like. He just wanted to find out what had ruined his sleep the one time he actually got it, or at least slept in to attempt at getting it. He knew for once Yoongi would be proud of him for taking care of himself; praise him for finally getting sleep.

Though ironically, Min Yoongi was the reason Jimin had awoken.

Once Jimin made a path through the mess of a fort he forgot to take down -and didn't have any intention to do so- he made it to the door.

Jimin opened it quietly as if someone saw or heard him, everything he had gotten up for would suddenly vanish. His elephant slippers that covered his feet left quiet pats on the wood floor as he attempted to get as close to the corner as possible.

Though to his surprise,

Nobody was there.

He swore he could hear talking out here when he was back in his apartment.

Yet the only thing he could see was a lovely black piano taking up half the hallway outside Min Yoongi's apartment. It wasn't huge, narrow enough where it could fit through the brown door across from him.

Curiosity getting the better of him, Jimin tiptoed up to the grand instrument, prepared to risk everything just to look at the piano up close.

Jimin was fascinated with the instrument, pressing down on one key with his index finger.

Though he was left confused, no sound coming out.

Jimin never truly cared for instruments. They just didn't peak his interest like dancing or singing had.

He remembered in eighth grade when his mother tried to convince him to join band, suggesting it would be a nice hobby to learn. When he asked what, she suggested piano with a smile so radiant it almost shattered his heart when he told her no.

Taehyung, the only person in their group who really cared enough to join and played the trombone, decided to persuade him to join too.

Though he still kept his ground, refusing to go near the instruments. His soul was set on dancing, and he was determined to get into a good college. He didn't have any specific one picked out at the time, but he knew once high school started, he needed to put in 110% If he wanted to get in anywhere.

Though black piano sitting feet away from his apartment had peeked his interest more than any instrument ever had, like it had some type of magical effect on the blonde.

Occasionally he wished he would have taken his mother and Taehyung's advice.

Not to play the piano of course.
