December 6 - Tuesday

3:34am.

~

Jimin laid in his bed, the full blue moon illuminating his apartment, a couple snowflakes making their way through his windows like sparkling particles of dust.

He couldn't sleep anymore, his fingers tightly wrapped around an object that had been in his possession for approximately a week now.

Today marked one month since Jimin had received the wretched yet lovely dark red umbrella from a white-haired man on an awful rainy night.

The thought of the kind action that started it all caused butterflies to flutter relentlessly throughout his stomach.

Jimin was falling apart.

Though in a sense, his life seemed to be coming together like hundreds of puzzle pieces.

The man by the name of Min Yoongi had forced his way into Jimin's heart and left a mark there quite like the one Jhope, Taehyung, and Jungkook did all those years ago.

The man ripped aside the mask that Jimin formed over the years and added color into a life he thought was so dull.

He actually made Jimin hate being alone for once.

He reminded Jimin that the way he was living, was definitely not living.

And he didn't want to live that way anymore.

He wanted to live the aggravating, fun and fascinating life Yoongi had shown him.

4:14am.

Jimin's carpet floor had officially been soaked from the amount of snow that made contact with it and melted.

Though despite the sparkling specks and gaping holes in his windows, Jimin wasn't cold. A large dark blue sweatshirt with the numbers 93' and the name Min Yoongi printed on the back, was wrapped snugly around his body.

Jimin had spent the few last hours thinking more than he normally did, the sent of vanilla so accustomed to his nose that he was sure he couldn't live without it. It was intoxicating; A drug he couldn't quite get enough of.

Everything in Jimin's life looked to be so much more complicated than it had previously been.

It was painful to deal with living such a boring everyday life after being exposed to a life so remarkable. One where instead of coming home and doing nothing, he'd pass notes with a lovely white-haired man. Instead of staring up at his ceiling, blocking every thought that came to mind, he'd let his body overflow with emotion. Instead of skipping meals because he wasn't hungry or didn't have time, he'd try his hardest to get meals in. Instead of spending nights alone, he'd wonder what Min Yoongi was doing, hoping they could spend it together.

Jimin didn't want to go back.

He wanted to sing and dance in the rain and embrace it the way the white-haired man had the day the met, forgetting about the umbrella he currently had because he wanted to feel the rain.

He wanted to watch comedies and romance movies instead of the ones that made him cry, even if it happened to be the last part of his best friend that he had.

He wanted to sleep in half the day and quit his job he loathed more and more each day.

He wanted to suck up his fears and go to the college he got a bunch of scholarships for because he was just that damn good at performing arts.
