Zhe Yan was there to greet Di Jun the moment he stepped foot on the mountain.  Below, scores of little Immortals had gathered excitedly to welcome home their revered War God having fled to Kunlun Mountain the moment the Bell had begun tolling, a man none had ever met, but were raised on the glorious stories of a man who seemed to have lived a million lives and achieved a million deeds, none of which they could ever hope to accomplish let alone surpass.

But that didn't prevent them from dreaming, and the tolling of a Bell they were all hearing for the first time, brought forward every bedtime story they had ever heard of the man.  Even the sudden appearance of Chang Shan and Zhi Lan who had lowered themselves to offer kind greetings  and sweetened tea, had them in tears.  In their eyes, they too were just as famous as the man, and though Chang Shan found their gushing and over exuberant babble a little hard to take, he kept the smile on his face as he answered their questions, knowing they were just as excited as he was.

And why wouldn't they be? he thought to himself as he watched the multitude of tea cups being snatched up quickly.  His Master was legendary, and to have returned after patching together his scattered soul was just one more feat to add to his already insurmountable fame.

"Oh my ........ Kunlun Mountain tea!" one sighed in near ecstasy, causing Zhi Lan to quickly swallow back the laughter and immediately replace it with a kind smile.

Though the moment Di Jun arrived, the gushing became frenzied as they all rushed forward to throw themselves at his feet, a man they all knew even though none had ever met him.

Chuckling softly at the Little Immortals who looked as if they were about to faint, Chang Shan turned to Zhi Lan having caught sight of the eye roll he only just managed to pull back in before they saw it.

"How will they react if Shifu decides to wake up and make an appearance?" he whispered as they turned to leave them to their fun.

From the edge of the entrance way where they were standing, the excited babble below was audible and the arrival of Dong Hua Di Jun, sent them all to their knees to not only worship The War Gods return, but the arrival of man whose fame was known to every man and beast alive.

Now following closely behind Zhe Yan, the two men headed directly for Mo Yuans meditation cave where his still un-breathing body lay.

"His spirit returned to the Realms centuries ago, however it has only been the last few weeks that we became aware of his presence and he only entered his body this morning." Zhe Yan said softly as they rounded the corner that led to his cave.

"Last few weeks?" Di Jun asked frowning.  And though he was not a man to allow his thoughts to be easily read, that piece of news came as a bit of shock.  Because a few weeks ago a certain dream he had had, was still replaying itself in his mind.  But saying nothing, he entered the cave before throwing up a privacy barrier.

"Yes, we discovered his spirit in the body of the West Seas Crown Prince and after a marathon of events we were finally able to get him back into his own body, however there are complications which is why I asked for you to come." Zhe Yan said as he led the man towards Mo Yuans body.

Looking down, at first glance, the mans body did not look soulless, in fact he looked to be merely sleeping.  His cheeks had some color in them but the sight of the soul stone still in his mouth had him looking back towards Zhe Yan who was once again preparing to enter him.

Quickly placing his hand on Zhe Yans shoulder, he shook his head lightly.  "Let me." he said moving forward to sit down and forcing Zhe Yan back to his feet.

Opening, only enough energy to delve into his body, Di Juns inner sight took stock of what he was seeing.  Noticing the barrier that had been placed around his mind first, he did not touch it, instead he continued to survey the soul gently which he instantly saw had been put into slumber.
