Epilogue 5 - Mo Yuan and Bai Qian 2 (NSFW)

Relaxing in the hot pools  Bai Qians mind began to delve back to her days as a young Disciple and her brothers whom she knew would leave soon.  The hot pool surroundings had grown sufficiently enough to give them the privacy they needed.   The trees and flowers were now blooming and it was exactly how she had pictured it in her mind the day she planted them.  It was a beautiful secluded space that belonged solely to them

 And as her mind went back, they talked quietly of her seniors and what life might have in store for them.

"I can't believe that Chang Shan is going to be a father soon." she said filled with happiness for her senior.  There had once been a time when she had not liked him very much, he had been rather strict with her and at times mean, but over the years she grew to love and respect him just as much as the others.

Looking at his wife, Mo Yuan smiled back at her.  He too was thinking how great it was that his Disciples were getting ready to either return home or make their own way in the world.

"Has Zi Lan made peace with Yan Zhi?" he asked.  He knew the boy was in love with her, and had they not had to battle, they may have already married by now.

Raising her eyes to smile at him, the joy in her face was all the answer he needed.  She had never told him of her visits to Yan Zhi, but he knew, she always returned with the scent of their energy on her.

"Yes he has.  So don't be too surprised if he leaves for the Ghost Realm very soon." she said shaking her head in amazement.  It just seemed so wonderful how everything was working out for them all.  Fate was truly being very kind to them, and for her brothers her heart swelled with love and pride.

"Die Feng has informed me that he will return to the West.  Duty is calling him home." Mo Yuan informed her which she nodded her head at.

"I know.  He is the King of the West Seas, a title that demands his attention, though I hope he will wait a little longer." she said with a sudden flicker of something in her eyes, which had him looking at her very closely.

"Oh?  And why is that?" he asked he asked moving off the rock wall to peer at her.

"Mo Yuan. Together, we are your Seventeen Disciples.  I might be your wife, but technically I am also a Disciple whether you agree or not.  Yet of us all, only three have Graduated."  She said looking back at him just as hard.

"Graduated?" he asked and though he had an idea of where she was going with it, he had not had any time to dwell on it.

"Think about it.  Die Feng is not only a King of his own Realm, he is also a highly respected Graduate of the War God.  That immediately gives him far more standing in the world than one who is not.  The same goes for Chang Shan and Xiang.  All three were blessed with a Graduation and because of it, all three have been able to use it to their advantage." she said as he pondered a little deeper on what she was getting at.

"They will all be leaving soon Mo Yuan.  Don't you think it's time to release them all properly?" she asked.  If anything, he should have done it years before.  They had all moved past their training under him, so to Graduate was something they all deserved.

Thinking about it, Mo Yuan really couldn't find any fault with the suggestion.  They were no longer young boys.  They were all grown men with wives and some had children, but she was right, they were still in effect his Disciples because he had not Graduated them, or rather freed them from their oath to him.

  And this he knew had to change, or many would continue to return out of duty to him which he could not allow, not when they had wives and children of their own to raise.  The last thing he wanted, was for any of them to feel beholden to him enough to put him before their families, which he knew they would continue to do.
