Mo Yuan spent the rest of the morning inspecting what was left of his Mountain.  Of the mountain itself much of the old estate still remained but the damage was vast.  But between them all and with Gaoguis help who was proving to be very useful, they would be able to rebuild and his first mission was The Grand Causeway,

This was something his father had created with a very old magic and what Tiandi had taught him privately as a young man so he knew what had to be done first, and that was extending the Mountain again.

So returning to the main hall, he collected his son who would learn this magic as well as assist him, which was something none of the other Disciples could help him with, though there was a very special magic he would have only Chang Shan assist him with, which he planned on dealing with later.

Then ordering Die Feng to gather his brothers to the base of the mountain, they were then ordered to clear it completely of any over stayers still hoping for a private meeting which he would not give until his family and his home had healed.

Bai Qian was still in bed, so he did not disturb her, what he had planned would not affect her, so taking his sons arm, they left the Mountain for what had once been the enormous mountain ranges that had sat on the North East horizon.

"What you learn today is sacred knowledge that was handed down to me via your grandfather.  It does not pass through you." Mo Yuan said softly to his son whose eyes were shining brightly in anticipation, the same way his had been when he learned that he was to be given the same ancient knowledge.

Although Mo Yuan was fully energized, he did not waste it on speed, instead he took a slow cloud ride while surveying the damage below which was something else he had yet to do.  From the top of the Kunlun Mountain he could see the damage was vast, but when directly above it, the huge chasms and destruction of every forest as well as the entire collection of hot pools and waterfalls was very painful to see.  He would have to rebuild them all again from scratch.

But keeping his mind on one thing at a time, he took Gaogui to what was now the remains of a vast Mountain range that had once completely surrounded Kunlun Mountain.  In its place was deep chasms that had ripped up the land as far as the eye could see.

Saddened and devastated by the loss of animal life that had once dwelt there for centuries, they hovered in the air on the same cloud in the lotus position where he then went into a light state of meditation, which Gaogui did also.

"What I want you to do first, is build your energy up into your fingertips.  It should feel hot but not unpleasant." he said softly as his own hands rested gently in his lap.  "While you are doing that, I will transfer several spells to you.  Just allow them to settle but do not move." he added as both men closed their eyes.

Building his energy up into his hands, this was yet another lesson his father was giving him with no warning.  But Gaogui learned very quickly how his father did things, and the less talking the better.

"As you learned under the Orchid People, knowledge is gained through experience, so pay close attention to your body, your thoughts and your immediate surroundings when you are learning anything." he had said.

This he knew well, having been taught the same way under the Orchid People, so keeping his mind clear and his attention on only his energy which he was gathering into his fingertips, he began to slowly feel the soft intrusion of his fathers mind connecting with his own.

Then very gently, Mo Yuan built up a bubble of energy around them.  It throbbed lightly against his own but what he immediately noticed was that though his fathers energy was very clam and gentle, it was enormously powerful.  Then gradually each spell was transferred.
