Kunlun Mountain Part 4 - The Return

Chapter 29 - The Final Battle 1

Speeding ahead towards the east, the five took stock of everything happening around them.  Below them, the ground as far as the eye could see, had ruptured into large deep crevices which spread out in all directions.  Fire, steam and molten lava was being thrown into the air around them as their entire world began to move eastwards.  The beasts of hell were either being forced up and out from the violent upheaval the land was going through, or they flew out.  

Monsters of enormous size rose up from the deep, beasts so vile and ugly, the sight of them was terrifying even to them and with the creatures of the deep, came their own foul stench and thick black energy.  A mist so thick, the air outside of their bubble of protection became unbreathable for those caught in its mist.  Though for a brief moment, a thought flashed through Mo Yuans mind, that they were perhaps the original ancestors of the Dark Lands beasts.   None had ever seen the likes of them as they were released from the bowels of hell that had been their home since the dawn of time.

In the distance, the movement of the land was much more discernible.  The brilliant expanse of colour on the horizon could only have been one thing.  They were still a long way off, but they could clearly see an entire forest of trees disappearing from view as the very seat of creation swallowed them whole.

But most discernible was the noise.  Not only was the howling and screeching of every beast to ever exist, drowning out all thoughts as it hammered against their barrier, but the land itself was literally screaming in protest.  The agony it was undergoing was felt by them all, as if the land itself was desperately seeking their protection.  In anger the entire world was thrusting and belching its rage upwards and outwards.

But the closer they got, they began to see the emergence of other worlds mingling with their own.  The horrific noise was deafening and soul shattering as the innocent lives of so many that had no dealings with them, had to also pay the price for ones mans hatred.  The tears ran down their faces as the screaming voices of millions from other worlds began to mingle with their own.  Clashing against one another, the shock wave of it was felt by them all, that in the end Gaogui brought them all to a halt.

"We need to split up into two groups." he said as Honghuis vast army also came into view.  

Though from what they could see, they too were struggling in the air even though they were still a long way off from the creation chamber.  The fear pouring off his soldiers was visible, his men looked as if they too wanted to flee as the beast from the deep  began to surround them.

But Ye Hua interrupted him before they split themselves.  "We need one person to carry the spell.  It is too risky for three of us, we may not all make it." he said as he took in the size of the army that was waiting for them.

In agreement, even Di Jun nodded his head.  "The one who carries the entire spell must get through at all cost.  You cannot stop to battle, the rest of us will do what we have to do to see you safely through to the other side.  From there, release the spell and strengthen it." he said as they all looked at the only person who was powerful enough and had the ability to succeed.

Having come to a decision on who would carry the complete spell and therefore be the sole person to re-raise the barrier while the rest kept them safe from Honghuis army, Ye Hua opened his mind magic to remove the part of the spell that Di Jun held as well as the part that Mo Yuan held.  Once he had the full spell having already uplifted the part that Honghui held, he faced the one who would carry it through. 

Giving them no chance to think, he released the full spell into their mind while completely wiping it from his own.  "From this day forward, you will be the sole keeper of the spell and therefore responsible for the safety of the Creation Chamber."  Ye Hua said, as he completed the exchange.
