Keeping in touch with Ye Hua the entire way, Gaogui and Bai Qian were making good progress.  They were a lot further away from the Desert than he was was, but he relayed ahead as much information on the army below them that they could see.  There were many land beasts as well as soldiers, and going by a rough estimation, Gaogui guessed there were at least ten thousand below them.  So far they did not bother with them, even though they knew they were above them, but after probing the minds of the ones leading, they knew for certain that Qing Cang had indeed left this army behind to prevent them from approaching the Bell.  But he was also positive they did not know why.

Meanwhile, further a head, the Ghost Clans allies were swelling in number,  By the time they had reached the outskirts of The Ghost Lands, Ye Hua had already left Kunlun Mountain with Di Jun and Zhe Yan, having sent ahead word to the Fox Clan that they too were needed, if only to keep the enemy soldiers out.  They did not want to war again, but if they had to, at least they would have back up in order to deal with their own missions.

Racing to the Fox Den, Die Feng informed them of what was about to unfold, which saw both the Emperor and Empress leave the den, while Bai Zhen was ordered to remain behind.  Though his arm was well enough, his energy was too low.  Instead he fled to Kunlun Mountain to remain with Liang,  Gouzhi, Cheng Bao and Chang Shan who would be needed for the elixir chamber, while the rest of the Disciples immediately took up arms and also fled to assist should they be needed.

Quietly Mo Yuan followed silently behind the three clouds in front of him.  He was positive Di Jun knew he was there but seeing as he was not turning, he sped up. They were already inside the Dark Realms and passing over the some of lands of the smaller clans, so it was too late for any of them to stop him now.  Catching up to his brother, Ye Hua glared angrily at him having been too busy talking to Gaogui he had not noticed his approach, but saying nothing,  all four sped forward.

Beside him, Mo Yuan began to feel for the first time the immense energy pouring off his brother, one that did not belong to him and it was powerful beyond anything he had ever felt.  He also believed it was not at its full potential.  Scanning him furtively, he also noticed the purple tinge to the energy, which immediately raised his brows.  But remaining straight backed with his head high and his hands behind his back, the exact same stance Ye Hua also took, they soon found themselves at the border of the Desert lands.

Instantly an impregnable shield enveloped all four of them, one that Ye Hua produced as they edged closer.  Dawn was just a mere three hours away, but looking towards the Bell which was already spewing its Heavenly Flame through the breaks in its seams, they could also see hundreds of Ghost and Demon warriors blocking off access to it.

Stopping where they were, Ye Hua closed his eyes and sent out a thought message to Gaogui.

"How far away are you?" he asked.

"We're still a long way off Ye Hua." he said sensing the urgency in his voice.  Kunlun Mountain was much closer than their home in the far east and they had only managed to cover half the distance.

"There is no time, there are already hundreds here.  Take Bai Qian and teleport, it's too late for secrecy." he informed him before closing the connection.

Below them, they could see Honghui, which saddened Ye Hua.  He had loved him dearly, but to see him looking as if he had now turned on them, he closed himself down to all emotions.  The world was in danger and there could be no room for sentiment.

Suddenly a flash of light erupted on the other side of the bell.  Unable to see what was going on, Ye Hua moved them all a little closer, but the moment he did, all hell broke loose below them.
