The final day was the busiest for both the Bride and Groom to be, and both of them were left exhausted by the end of it.
Heading into the Realms with Gaogui, Zhe Yan, Di Jun and Ye Hua, they made their way towards the West Seas, which was the longest distance, and from there they would work their way back slowly.
Gaogui had arrived that morning to be with his father for the final day and being his son he would also be there in the morning to help him prepare himself while also returning to Qing Qiu with him to collect his mother. But the moment his feet had hit the entrance, Mo Yuan flew at him before immediately dragging him into his chamber where only one question was asked.
"Did you tell your mother what I said that night in the Mortal Realm?"
"No! Of course not, did Uncle Zhe Yan not tell you?" he asked mystified by his fathers anxiousness.
Suddenly the eyes darkened.
"Tell me what?" he asked inching forward menacingly.
Feeling a little intimidated by the strong gaze his father fixed on him, he inched back a little.
"We agreed that what was said that night remained in the Tavern and mother was not to be told. We all know what her temper is like when she loses it, and when it comes to you father, she would not take kindly to knowing what you did to her." he replied with a large dose of criticism.
Mo Yuans mind instantly understood two things very clearly. One, that Zhe Yan was a bastard and two, his son was not happy with him.
Dealing with his son first, Mo Yuan apologized to him but he made it clear to his son, that though what he did was inappropriate and unprofessional as the Master of Kunlun, his mother was the only woman he had ever loved and he should let go of that night.
"I said a lot of things I now regret, but it does not change the fact that I still love her, and marrying her, not only rights that wrong, it is the only true dream I have ever had." he said softly while leaving his son in no doubt that after this talk, he would not discuss it with him again.
After that, Mo Yuan had gone straight to the Grand Hall where Zhe Yan was busy discussing the full itinerary with Di Jun and Die Feng. Standing beside him, he leaned in close to his ear and whispered so only he could hear him.
"I hope you fun you bastard."
Jolting, Zhe Yans head swung upwards to look at him. The fire in those dark eyes, and the murderous look instantly had him roaring with laughter.
"Ahh, Gaogui is here I take it?" he asked turning back just as the boy in question entered the Hall. Then looking back at Mo Yuan and seeing the very slight flicker of amusement in his eyes, he smirked at him.
"Damn you Zhe Yan, I apologized and I dug up your damned wine." he said while fully turning his body to lean in over him.
Not intimidated in the least, the laughter continued.
"Well you deserved it asshole." he spluttered in his face, and this time everyone heard him, because all heads raised to stare at the two men who were so close they were almost hugging each other.
Scoffing, Mo Yuan turned back towards his son.
"Gaogui, we're heading out into the Realms shortly so don't wander too far." he said lightly having instantly dropped the mask of anger to then look back at Di Jun who was trying to gain his attention.
"We go now. There is too much to do this afternoon." he said which then had all four men gathering to leave.
Now flying over the remnants of the Ghost Lands, they all looked down at the large amount of work being carried out below them. They too had lost their mountain range, but he could already see large tracts of land planted with new trees and even flower beds. Pleased with what their new Queen had managed to achieve, his eyes suddenly caught sight of a flicker of white.
