Chapter 70 - Matrimony - The Banquet

Given only two hours to consummate their union, The Empress, Bridesmaids, Feng Jiu, Bai Zhi, Di Jun, Zhe Yan and Die Feng along with Gaogui and Ye Hua were at the doors waiting to be allowed entry, while the Disciples were all ordered to the banquet tables to await their arrival.

Inside, both Mo Yuan and Bai Qian were dressed only in their matching bed robes, but the moment their energy was felt, Mo Yuan lowered his barrier and opened the door to allow them in.

Smiling brightly and looking very rosy cheeked, The Empress who had been having a lot of fun with the guests entered a little unsteady on her feet to make her way directly to Bai Qian while the men assisted Mo Yuan.  Though because the chamber had only the one bath which was quickly heated, Mo Yuan was cloud jumped directly to the hot pools which had been closed off specifically for that moment and both were quickly bathed and dressed into their Banquet outfits which had been a gift from Zhe Yan.

"Lanhua is preparing to leave." Di Jun said though Mo Yuan did catch a glimpse of excitement in his eyes.

"Then we had best hurry, I know Qian Qian wants to speak with him before he goes." he replied as he was quickly oiled down by Ye Hua and Die Feng.

"He will wait for her.  He also wishes a private word before he leaves." Gaogui said from the side of the pool.

Nodding, Mo Yuans eyes remained on Di Jun as he was finally helped from his bath and dried down.  But with so many around them, he couldn't question him.  He had a very strong suspicion that he might have made enquiries regarding the Rock of Incantations and being fate itself, Lanhua would be the only one who could undo the mistake Di Jun had made years before.  Even as his robes were pulled on, he could see Di Jun wasn't really with him, and that only increased his suspicions.  But whatever they had talked about was soon forgotten as he was then led back to his chamber to collect Bai Qian who should also be ready for him and where they would both present themselves to their guests together.

Also being helped from her bath, her bridesmaids made light work of her hair which did not need too much fixing because Bai Qian wanted to wear the majority of her hair down while the rest was pulled up into an ornate hair piece which her father had gifted her.

Then helping her into a beautiful full length figure hugging peach blossom pink banquet gown with a a pastel pink lace shawl with a hood, which was pinned to her shoulders so it would flare out lightly about her body without the need to continuously keep it in place, she looked beautiful.  Then splattering her hair with tiny hand carved peach blossom pins, she was then led to the mirror as Mo Yuans energy began to near the chamber.

Taking one look at herself, she was more than happy with her appearance, so not wanting her bridesmaids to fuss over her anymore than they had, she quickly hugged each one.

"Thank you for taking good care of me today.  As you know, my bridesmaids may claim a debt from me once the wedding is over, so do think about what you want to ask of me, and if it is within my power, I will ensure your request is met without delay."  She said as they each received a personal gift to which they could then use to claim their debt.

Then with one last embrace from her mother, she asked for the doors to be opened.  No sooner had they swung wide, then Mo Yuan entered with his groomsmen behind him.  Dressed in Peach Blossom green, his outfit was the perfect compliment to her own and with his hair lightly pinned at the back, something his Disciples were not used to seeing, he looked just as beautiful as she did.

Behind him, Gaogui was dressed in a peach blossom green with pastel pink trim which also matched their outfits and with his long hair back to being white and with his green eyes glowing brightly, Bai Qian had a strong feeling she was going to have to keep the girls under close watch because like his father, he was just as beautiful.
