Three Hundred years had passed since the destruction overtook their world, But with Mo Yuan back in charge of Kunlun Mountain, Di Jun in charge of the Celestial Palace, Ye Hua in charge of both armies and Gaogui beside his father as his own personal assistant where he learned directly under him, so much had been achieved that the people were no longer relying on him or his Disciples for assistance.
Though energy was always a problem, they all learned to do with as little as possible. And it wasn't Mo Yuan, Di Jun or Ye Hua who gave the people the necessary skills to survive on little energy, but Qing Qius people. And it was through Qing Qius people that the rest learned to live humbly while being happy with their achievements.
Though there was still a hierarchy in place with Bai Qian, Mo Yuan, Di Jun, Bai Zhi and Zhe Yan at the top, followed by Gaogui and Ye Hua, there was no ruling elite so to speak, though this would come when Ye Hua took over as Skylord. This was a new concept and one the people found difficult to acclimatize to, however once it became known that their world would continue to be led, but at a much less grander scale in order to give everyone a good chance at making a comfortable life for themselves, the people whole heartedly took to their new lives with vigor.
Mo Yuan and his Disciples soon reached a stage where they were able to return to their old ways, though Die Feng did travel extensively between the realms having been made King of the West Sea due to the death of his older brother. It was not a role he had wanted, whoever, his Tribe too needed a leader to guide them. His parents were in the elder years and wanted only to retire in peace among their people.
But it was on his return to Kunlun Mountain that Die Feng brought welcome news.
"Shifu. There are several hundred survivors from the East. They all had the most fascinating story to tell." he said excitedly as he raised himself to his knees.
Leaning forward from the side, Gaoguis eyes lit up. He knew what that story was, because he had already learned of it, but because they had been so busy, he had not yet had a chance to mention them.
"Speak." Mo Yuans soft voice carried through the hall with a smile. This was welcome news. It had sat heavily on his mind. The thought that so many Tribes his own father had helped to create had perhaps been lost forever, had him also moving forward.
"It seems as if the Purple Robes, those of the Orchid Valleys had managed to save many of their people, before releasing them on our territories. They are currently making their way back towards the East even though their lands have been lost."
"However, High God Bai Zhi and he Empress have gifted them a plot of land that once bordered their old lands." he said smiling.
Mo Yuans eyes shone brightly at this news. Qing Qiu had always been a reclusive Tribe, they rarely had anything to do with the other tribes, but since the destruction, not only did Bai Zhi and The Empress put themselves on the world stage, one they had shunned for millennia, they had given everything they had to assist their world.
Thinking to ask after Bai Zhi and The Empress having heard very little from them for months, his attention was suddenly drawn towards Gaogui who had stood so quickly, that the small table he had been leaning against, was almost toppled over.
Following his gaze, Mo Yuans mind emptied as a lone woman came into view.
Shifting on their knees, his Disciples also turned to face the entrance. But it wasn't the woman they were focusing on, but the enormous amount of energy coming off her. Unable to see clearly who she was as the sun was directly behind her, Die Feng stood to take his place beside Gaogui in order to welcome her properly.
